Good afternoon Newbies !!
So you want to grow marijuana ? This is an easy way to grow some dank buds with miracle grow organics choice potting mix. I promise you that your buds will taste delicious as long as you dry & cure properly. I'm not here to teach how to dry/cure, nor am I here to teach how to germinate or what planters & sizes to use. 1 gallon per foot of plant is a general rule of thumb. All you are going to learn from me is how to get your seedling to harvest on a tight budget with stellar results !! First let me say that I'm not a fanboy of miracle grow nor am I fan boy of fox farm ocean forest. What I am is a fanboy of being dollar rich & penny wise.
Growing with miracle grow organics choice is easy. Forget about people scaring you away from miracle grow because of nutrient lock out, blah blah blah bullshit. As long as you don't use any nutrients during Veg, your plants will grow just fine & also if you only use the suggested nutes I recommend for flowering you & your girls will be fine !! The miracle grow soil has all the nutes it needs during veg (the same goes with foxfarm ocean forest (no nutes needed during veg, NONE WHATSOEVER !!) You wont need a ph meter or ph up & down kit for this grow. I have never used them nor will I ever !!
Things you will need.
Miracle gro organics choice potting mix
Raw perlite (not miracle gro perlite as it has nutes in it)
Indonesian bat guano (High phosphorus for flowering)
Unsulphured molasses or blackstrap unsulphured molasses (potassium & trace minerals for flowering)
Measuring cup
Chlorine free water or distilled water
That's basically it considering you already have planters/pots to grow in
First mix 2 scoops of MGOCPM to 1 scoop of perlite. It's a good ratio to keep your soil from compacting.
When it's a seedling I find it best to water once in the morning (6oz's water) & once in early evening (6oz's water). I do this every day for the first 2 weeks. After that I water every other day 10 oz's water until she is 12" tall & then I transplant her to her 3.5 gallon planter & keep watering every other day but I up my water feeding from 10oz's per feed to 1/3 gallon per feed until my girls are at the height I want them to be before I induce flowering, Figure an indica will double in height. 3.5 gallons is good for a 3 to 3 1/2 foot plant & could yield between 3-4z's. Speeding things up now to flowering. Well my girl is now 18" tall, it's time to switch my lights from 24-0 to 12-12. Now after she wakes up from being in the dark for 12 hours, it's time for me to feed her flowering nutes. Take 1 tablespoon of the bat guano & put in a 1 gallon container of chlorine free or distilled water. Shake the hell out of it & feed 1/3 of that gallon to your plant. Now when it's time to feed her next (every other day) you will need to add 1 tablespoon of molasses to it's own gallon container of chlorine free or distilled water. Shake it up baby !! You will feed her that now (also 1/3 gallon) Feed every other day alternating fertilizer. For example: Monday the guano, Wednesday the molasses, Friday the guano, Sunday the molasses & so on. This is what you will do up until 2 weeks before harvest. After that you will only be feeding water every other day. Don't worry about flushing. Not necessary. I hope I was able to explain properly. I am stoned but arent we all ?? If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Please only ask questions if you already have basic growing skills. Thanks, Eric
Pics of my supplies & a pic of my current ak48 feminized growing with this soil & nutes schedule. I believe growing should be simple. No need for fancy schmancy labels or gimmick names when it comes to growing. Just grow with the best & quite frankly the indonessian bat guano & molasses is the best !! At least in my book it is & that's not me being dollar rich or penny wise. It's what I personally believe whats best for soil grows !!
No haters please, I just want to help some newbs out.
