shroom kits

hey all,

i've never really had a true trip off of shrooms. i had some weak tea once, but it didn't do too much. anyway, i'd like to play w/ one of the many shroom kits and grow my own stuff.

i'm confused about the legality of it, though. i live in texas...despite my many internet searches, i'm still unsure as to whether doing such a thing could get me in trouble. do the spores usually come w/ the kit? if not, how would i go about getting the spores?

I was actually looking at this today (I bought some spores). Buying and transporting spores, cultivating mushrooms, and harvesting FRESH mushrooms are illegal in every state except Florida (lucky me, I live in FL). Possessing dried mushrooms is illegal in all states. There's actually a pretty funny story for why there's a distinction between fresh and dried shrooms in FL if you look into it.

Anyways, I'd imagine for all the other states it's still extremely easy and safe to buy spores and prints online. The spore banks are all within the United States (I bought from one in Michigan), so your package is not subject to Customs. Additionally, the police are not exactly concerned with shroom cultivation.

Honestly I wouldn't bother with the kits they sell. You can get better equipment for less money at Lowe's, Wal-Mart, and your local grow shop.
