I would not advise to lollypop while your in flower, will stress the plant and lower your yields

hey dude, how big is your light? I lollipop the shit out of my plants, but i work with a 250 and 150 hps...so not a lot of light depth if you know what i mean. I also start at 2 or 3 weeks, when the buds are smaller. You may want to take the bottom few nodes worth if the look really spindly comparitively. If you do i would leave the fan leaves if they look healthy otherwise cut them off too.

Slight pruning of some of the fan leaves may help your plants too. Could give a little better airflow and light penetration. It is a trade off b/c those do a lot of work/energy source for your plant so dont go all willy nilly ond the fan leaves. ust a couple here and there.

I just ordered cheese seeds like 5 minutes ago. pretty pumped. which ones in the room are the cheese?

I lollipop in flower with great success, but not that far into flower. I lollipop in wk#1, wk#3 of flower...just as the Urban Grower, "Ramo" from advanced nutrients suggest. However, he's teachings are to acheive 2+ pounds per/ 1000w bulb....I'm only using 600w bulb and harvesting 1+ per. Lollipopping makes my buds fat asses! :)

I wouldn't do it at this stage.

Your plants look fantastic! I wouldn't mess around at this point. The metabolism going on in that lower foliage contributes to all that great buddage you see there. Pruning, bending and scrogging strategies really need to be started early for best results. I do agree with past times on trimming lower branches that are long and thin due to light deprivation - say, like the bottom 1/5 of the plant.

With 6 plants looking that thick? I'd say 12z or so. Depends on your light strength too (more = more bud hardness and more weight).

Have to go with the consensus, to late now... However, though the is a lot of disagreement on this, you could remove some of the largest fan-leaves that's blocking light to the buds about a week or so prior to harvest... I try to lollipop my plants as well, by topping them twice in veg and maybe once in flower, but 10 days after at the latest. Spindly undergrowth and under-developed side-branches gets removed during the first 20-25 days, max. But, it's very strain-dependent, some of them are hellbent on growing along the main stem.

P.S.: your plants looks gorgeous, BTW!

Nah,you do that 2 weeks before 12/12..They looks fine, you can always give them side lighting,if the buds are'nt filling rite down there..

gotta agree with waiting a bit on lollipopping since it can really go badly if you do it too early. I've heard of entire crops going bad.

I haven't played with it too much, which is what drew me to this post.

That said, I'm a big fan of getting rid of the little leaves that aren't adding to the plant's weight or harvest.

Get em out of the way so that the nutes you use can have a better chance of pumping up the bigger leaves which get the most light anyway.

Pretty good looking plant though right now. Gotta say that this is a nice setup and one which is making me rethink a few things when it comes to the way I'm handling my plants at various stages.
