Im not sure if this is the correct forum or not but, I am interested in enrolling in oaksterdam university for the 13 week course and being from the east coast have no idea where to find a good apartment in the area and cant find anything on the web really. any help would be appreciated.

I don't believe Oaksterdam provides housing. Its not a university type college like Ohio state or whatever.
If you want to come out this way im pretty sure you're going to have to get an apartment on your own.
Your best bet would be to look at apartments online through a website geared at renting apartments... think one was called apartments.com or something but i cant be sure.

Craigslist is the place to find an apartment out here.
If you're going to live in Oakland I strongly recommend seeing the place before you move in. I love Oakland for the most part, but some areas are extremely unsafe.
