Variety suggestions?

I just received my new SuperCloset grow locker and was looking for suggestions on my first crop. I'll be growing hydro and have a trellis system to help keep the height under control.

Sativas have many of the traits I'm looking for but I'm open to Indica's too. I must have an uplifting high with NO COUCHLOCK.

Time to flower isn't critical and I like a pleasant flavor. I just smoke mainly for pain relief and not to get totally wasted. I want something that will reduce my pain and let me move around better without being vegged-out on the couch.

I know that's a pretty tall order but I'm new to all of the different varieties and appreciate any suggestions.

Cheers

Forum member frmrboi recomends Cotton Candy by Federation for pain relief without sedation. frmrboi has again and again shown that he knows his stuff. I haven't had it yet but it's on the list.

Cotton Candy

An old Vancouver Island strain that originates from Afghani and Haze seed lines, recognized by the medical community for its pain relief without the drowsiness. Wonderful fragrance with an earthy flavor and long lasting high. The Cotton Candy will produce one ounce of dense bud per gallon of soil/root mass. The Cotton Candy has deep green leaves with a bushy growth structure that makes it almost as wide as it is tall. Known for its astringent qualities, the Cotton Candy has an extreme drying effect and it is recommended a glass of water or juice should be at hand while medicating.

Flowering 8 weeks

Dude, best advice..get yourself some Northern Lights #5.

Virtually No odor, big buds, grows easily, clones easily... And the high is great.

Sativa's are too lanky and uncontrollable, and take forever to flower. With nl5 you wont have any of thise problems, and you may be able to grow without any air scrubbers or ozone generators..

And nl5 finishes up in 45-55 days.

Any other strain will require lots of odor control. Which can be a pain in the ass, and expensive.

Think about it.. Good luck :) p.s. You'' thank me later... You can buy the beans at high grade seeds.

Never tried Cotton Candy, but I might pick some up for my wife since her back is problematic. My experience with the NL strains is that they are a nicely balanced high that leaves you cheerfully functional with good pain relief. I had a great AK47 x NL about 1-1/2 years ago from Joey Weed that would suit your needs perfectly, but I don't think Joey Weed still sells it anymore. Probably because it wasn't as strong as pure AK47.
