besides high pressure sodium lamps, whats and other good type of light for budding process?
hps is the best right now...besides high pressure sodium lamps, whats and other good type of light for budding process?
they will work ,cfl better than a mh at least you can get them in a proper spectrum mh lights have a lower output and the wrong spectrumMH will work too or CFL
Are you sure about that? Lower output? Wrong spectrum?they will work ,cfl better than a mh at least you can get them in a proper spectrum mh lights have a lower output and the wrong spectrum
no shit. I've never seen a CFL out-preform a MH either. But I'm eager to learn. I just wont tell the plant the new info I learned.a mh is WAAAAAAAAYAYYYY better at budding than a cfl....cfl just doesnt have the intensity needed to grow fat nugs
exelent first hand info. Thank you. rep+This endless MH/HPS argument...... come on guys.I have all of them and I have used all of them .some of them simultaneusly(MH and hps).
Now in one end of my flowering room I have a 600 watt MH and in the otherside 1000 watt hps and most of the plants in the moiddle recieve both of them. The MH side is more green(darker green foliage) with less vigour but more resin production(lets say about %40) and less bud production.
I even have had 3 generations of Diesel ryder under Mh and hps and cfl in separate occasions. I dont denywith HPS I had more yield but I wont forget the taste and power of my diesel ryder under the MH ,It was a serious high ( I never experience a serious high with my hps developed buds.
one strain under hps had some ceiling effect when i smoked it but the same strain under MH took me higher and higher with every puff. But HPS gave me 3 ounces a plant and MH gave me 2.
In mh side the garden is more managable.so which one is better? I love them both.
CFL is my choice of summers and without it I cant enjoy summer crop.
