pick up some of the 42w cfls, mix of red and blue spectrum...

then go buy the book "buds for less" by seemorebuds... it'll show you step by step day by day how to grow a few plants with CFLS, and is written by a top member of this site

should be found in borders and other big bookstores!

=p

best of luck with you're grow...
go read the grow faq a lot and learn as much as you can

$16.95 at Barnes & Knowbles. They have it in the Gardening Section. Ask for help in finding it , this will remind them that they have it, also ask if they are going to carry any of his other four books, it will make them think about it. He shows you, with pictures for every day of the plants life how he grew 8oz of dried bud using 8-42watt cfl's, from three female plants. Complete list of what to get and how to set it up for less than $100.00. It has a section on cloning with pictures of course. The day I received it, I read it from cover to cover. I guess you could say I endorse the book, so does Ed Rosenthal. VV

Just take a look at some of the other successful CFL grows on this site, then, and learn from them. Knowledge is power, and the search feature is your friend.

If you use floro's you can stand them on end vertically, even in a pyramid shape. Floro's need to be close to work effectively, so as the plants grow, you get light from the sides to the lower branches. Grow short clones also, as they can be budded when small and produce all TOP BUD not flimsy bottom bud. We used to use 8 foot flourescents in grow rooms around ground level and from the sides to give light where the upper halides and HPS's couldn't reach but short clones won't need a supplement. Just my opinion from personal experience.
