Hello all, im not new, just forgot me old details.

right, im looking to grow cannabis at a location somewer, and i need to know that if i get a good extractor that sucks all of the hot air out of the room through the top of the of the roof via a flu that is similar on the other houses, will this be enough so that it wont look odd to police overhead in theyre helicopters with thermol imaging cameras????

meaning will my house glow or will there be far too much heat coming out of the flu?

any other suggestions around this problem would be much appriciated.

FLIR or other heat detecting devices are NOT looking at smokestacks, or furnace vents. They are looking at WALLS & ROOF patterns. Rooms and roofs that are very warm and not insulated properly are very visible and standout like a white hot poker. Don't worry about a vent or stack. Growrooms are easier to detect in the dead of winter of course, thats why you have to do it RIGHT! :) Good luck!

you kinda need to add some detail to your post like how many watts of what type of lighting are you talking about and what is the ventalation and circulation like? size ducting, what type of fans, etc.. I imagine that if you are worried about being spotted on a thermal scope that are talking about a sizable commercial operation, right??

right, thanks for that, so they dont really worry about heat coming out of a vent aslong as ur room temp is down to a minimum? do u have any MUST advice for me?

Try to keep your lights on during daylight hours as opposed to night. Make sure if you are venting to the outside that you are venting out of something non-suspicious like a dryer vent, chimney or hot water heater flue. Make sure the structure you are growing in is properly insulated.

It's illegal for the cops to use this without a warrant but they do it anyway. You want to spread the heat out as much as possible.
