you can safely wait until the sex of the plant is obvious. and yes, you can pull a clone from a flowering plant though it may take a little longer to start growing

i think the plants are too young as of yet to clone but least thats cleared that one up..does the pre flower have to fully open first to see the sex? cos one of them has started to open but no hairs at all which kinda tells me it might be male.....

personally, i never get too excited by pre-flowers - to me it's like trying to read tea leaves. once the flowering really starts it becomes painfully obvious if you have a male. they look nothing like the females.

going to check tonight for more progress and make a decision wether to get rid then cos i think 3 females is going to be enough work as it is lol

If you have a good camera and need a second opinon post a pic we will try to help. And as for cloning yes just take it from the bottom where you going to cut off the crap you don't want anyways you never know what will take and what won't unless you try. Just takes longer then 10 days more like 21 to a month to see new growth.

First, are you in the flowering phase or are you saying that your plants are 3 weeks old from seed? If you're only 3 weeks old from seed, it'll take a little time to tell their sex and like someone else mentioned, trying to confirm sex from pre-flowers is a hit or miss. It's best just to Flower a rooted clone for a week or two.

Second, if you're actually 3 weeks into flower and you still can't tell their sex, then you've probably got a major light leak coming in or they're being stressed for whatever reason only you can tell us.

Third, if they've been Flowering for 3 weeks, it's going to take much longer to root those clones simply because their hormones have changed and are concentrating on producing flowers and not roots.

Good luck with the process and keep us posted :leaf:

There's a problem if they haven't shown sex after 3 1/2 weeks. They should look at least like this by 3 weeks...the females at least :leaf:
