I am just beginning my 1st hydroponics grow as of now.
using the ebb&flow method and a 10gal. reservoir only 2 little girls for now.
a couple of cuttings from what are said to be AlaskanThunderFuck!
ive been growin in soil for a little while now and i feel hydroponics better suits my needs. lol finally invested in a nice HPS system for flower and using cfls for veg.
...im soo excited for this grow...if anyone has any tips, please i am open to them.
i will also include some photos along the way.

make sure that your resevior is getting airated somehow either with air stones or just letting it splash into the resevior. also make sure that your resevior has enough water in it, in ebb and flow the water level tends to drop a few mL a day you want your pump to be submerged completely i learned the hard way. Having a bigger resevior also makes adding nutes a little for forgiving as their is more water instead of nutes.

there is no better way to learn than experience ,look around, ask?s & then sort out what applies best for your grow there is lots of help from experienced growers available here go for it

I agree that having a bigger reservoir is better.. But how do you figure that you have more water and less nutes? That part I don't get since it's a ratio: Xml's of nutes/gallon of water (X can be any number).

So, if you have 2ml's/gal of water as your nutrient to water ratio, then 2 gallons of water would have 4ml's, 3 gallons 6ml's, and so on and so forth... More water doesn't mean less nutrients.

Good point made on making sure you get a good amount of oxygen in to the water. That is very important!

I was thinking: maybe you meant as time goes on... You add water each day and the nutes become diluted??

yes, i am using 2 four inch airstones in the reservoir and there is decent airflow.
the room is generally staying at about 70-75 DereesF. with around 40% humidity
im also using a 132 submersible pump and the G.H. 3 part nute system...+other goodies ha

i checked today and they are taking already only day 2 and good root growth....IM LOVIN THIS ALREADY!!!
i guess all is goin well so far
