i apologize in advanve for the quality but i am trying. the hps lights are a pain when trying to take pics or vids. i am going to set up a fluro in the tent so i can get a good vid this arvo when the hps lights turn off.
there is a bit of heat stress on the bigger plants but it looks like that wont be a problem anymore. we got heaps cooler weather and they are on 12/12 now so less time for the heat to effect them.

i now have 6 of the first 10 crossbred seedlings.
all 6 are on 12/12 for sexing.
i cant wait for them to show. i will do another vid tomorrow. i will try and get some better still shot close-ups under the fluros.

seedling take to show sex?? well from 12/12 you should start to see somethin within about a week to two weeks.. but you dont wanna start that until they have at least 4/5 nodes, you wont even be able to see anything

hi guys, hows the smoke?
just adding another vid to my journal. sorry about the quality. i am forever looking for a better camera.
i will find one good enough one day. i tried to put some music in the background, will do better next time. i am pretty much computer illiterate, so i dont know how to edit the vid before i upload it. i am slowly getting there with computers.
anyway, they have had 3 days on 12/12 and they are starting to show some changes. i am pretty sure the bagseed is female but waiting for a friend to confirm for me. i want to post pics but shit camera and cant get in focus close ups. the seedlings are going really well.

8E they are looking so bloody good. You aint getting no job with any TV station thats for sure. lol. i tried to watch the vid before i posted on my own journal and my comp was playing up thats why no comment previously. I am developing small mans syndrome though lookinng at yours and LaceyG's plants. I was under the impression that indicas were the small chunky ones and sativas were taller with think leaves. Correct me if i am wrong but i think mine are the small bushy ones. Another thing the grow medium you are using...finding it worthwhile? I had a look online and it seemed quite expensive.

your right about the indica and sativa. i had just got home from work and pumped 6 cones into me. eyes a bit funny. lol
my medium is hydroton. i get it from my local hydro shop for $11 for 10ltrs or $50 for 60ltrs. it is recylabe too. i like it because once you have rinsed it it is pretty clean to work with and the recylable part too.

I thought that might be the case. I havent smoked since New Year so cant wait for that feeling again. The hydroton sounds a lot cheaper than i thought. Keep up the good work.

I know what you mean, I look at DoeEyed's Grow and it makes me want to go into my tent and kick my shit over...lol...
Trust me, there's always someone bigger and better than... It has taken me literally years to make the decision to spend a fair bit of money to just be "set and forget". I have built rooms with plastic walls, grown in wardrobes, cupboards, in a roof, I was just sick of the hassle.. Being this set up has cost me a lot of money, just ask 8....He knows the dollars I spend... But its an investment, I only have to replace the replaceables, like pumps, globes, air stones and airlines and medium... I have spent sooo much money on pot over the years, I had to do this, I've made my choice to par take of the herb, so I have to grow it...
What I am trying to say it, don't lose heart, we all started small... Remember the risk I am also taking....

They look great,8, I can't wait to come over... Gonna take a cutting off that bag seed, I reckon... And you reckon your seedlings are Widow dominant? I think mine are starting to show that also but they have thick velvety leaves like the rhino... Its almost furry...lol....You doing a great job.... You have to help me at harvest time... I feel so "old timey" when I say harvest time...

Yes i know. I am using you and 8 as a valuable source of info and also a bit of inspriration. 8E did you decide on the timing you will use? It seemed that the general feedback was to stick to 12/12 for the flowering.

its now day 10 of 12/12 and there is a definite change. laceygirl came over and took some photos with her camera so hopefully there is some good ones for you guys. i have done another vid, i am trying to get it nice and still. i will do another vid later just before lights out. it will be under just fluros so it will look better.
so far out of the 10 crossbred seeds we have thrown out 4 which have turned out male. still keeping an eye on the others. i still have 4 crossbred seedlings and the white widow seedling. the white widow looks like its a girl and so do the remaining crossbreeds. its only been 10 days of 12/12 so a little while longer and we should know for sure.
