hi

i consider myself still a noob so il post these in the noob section.

these are 2 of my 9 vegging Dutch Passion Blueberry. I have been vegging them for bout 7-8wks now they have had there problems but i think ive rescued them. They have been vegged under a 250hps and im gonna flower them under a 600hps so far they have only had bio-bizz grow, but when i flower im gonna have them on grow, bloom, topmax and heaven and maybe some mollases?

im thinking there gonna be pretty big when finished but ive got the room so thats not really a worry.

Just thought id see what you guys think of them and any guess's as to the yield from them.

sorry didnt write that right lol there will be 5 flowerd under 1 600hps and 4 under another 600hps.

I've used biobizz for the last year.
You would be much better off getting Alg-A-Mic rather than BioHeaven. Alg-A-Mic is a great product.
Also I'm not a fan of TopMax. I'd get something from another company. At the last 3-4 waterings before flushing I've been told using a PK 13/14 (usually sold for hydro appliance) would help a lot. Been told that by someone I constantly put my grow in his hands - my hydro shop guy.
The TopMax just isn't powerfull enough if you ask me. even 3 times the recommanded dose doesn't do the trick for me.

Used bioheaven and haven't noticed any difference except that its a very good PH buffer. doesn't worth its price if you ask me. I can PH my solution myself.

If you can, get some high P bat guano. Its much better than the biobloom if you ask me. and its pretty cheap in the US. Unfortunatly in Israel its impossible to get any.
You could use the powder guano if you plan on repotting but the liquid is easier to use if you don't need to re-pot.
Guano gave me the best tasting buds until now.

hi thanks for that info i have only had a few grows so far and only used bio-bizz the pk13/14 and liquid bat gauno are 2 others that ive been looking at tho, i asked about pk13/14 in the grow shop last week and they told me the formula had been changed and it was now usable in soil, so im definatly trying that and also i found the liquid bat guano for £12.50 a bottle.

thanks for recommending them cause they were 2 that i was looking at also, got any others?

i was gonna try mollases aswel seeing as its so cheap.

You could use hydro oriented PK. its very powerfull, but it kills all the benificial bacterias that reside in your soil and make your plant happy.
That why you should only use it in the last few waterings if you go organic. In that stage you don't really care about how your plant will be in a month - it will be chopped sooner.

I've heard numerous good feedbacks about Blue mountain Organics (eBay) and their guano. Wish I'll get the chance to try it sometime, but they don't ship to Israel.
I've only tried some unknown high N guano powder that was sold around here for a few months and some generic liquid guano that was sold at the same place for the same while.
None available right now.

You should start a thread about it, some might have more info than I have.

Haven't used molasses as its unavailable as well.

There are a lot of amendments that can be used in an organic grow. I'd recommand visiting the Subcools organic school subforum in RIU. It has some nice recipes and info about the subject.

thanks for the info im gonna be giving the pk13/14 and bat guano a try and most probably the molasses too.

im waiting on a carbon filter so ive gotta veg them for at least another 2 weeks think they will end up big plants.

im also going to hang a 250hps the wrong way around and use it for side lighting, am hoping with 600hps and 250hps on the sides that ill get a decent yield.

man i grew some blueberry from DP and did a bit of breeding with it too... if you check my profile youll see my albums.. its quicker than me posting pics of it.....

I also use biobizz but just in vegging.... not in bloom.....
I use the grow and the root juice... always buffer my ph before using the nutes to 7 ( like biobizz suggests to do on their website)
You dont need to use mollases in veg cause your biobizz grow is full of it...

I only use mollasses after 4th week of flowering... using 1 tea spoon/ liter of water... 3- 4 times..

Guano is the way to go....
liquid isnt that great, your better off getting powderd guano and making tea out of it...

100 grams of guano/ 2 liter of water... you can use anything between 4-10 ml / liter of water...
the more guano u use the lower you want your bloom fert's Phosporus to be ...
A perfect combo is biocanna's bio flores with Guano kalong... that way you just Cant go wrong!!!!! :)

Peace out and good luck!! ill be checking back to see how those beauuuutifull blueberry's are doing..=)

yeah ive seen your blueberry + strawberry mix in another thread jahtrip its lovely! my friend dont use the net much but grows and i was telling him about it last night lol

i got some good results from the bio-bizz last time but seeing as its the only nute i have used or even seen used so far then im VERY open to trying something else, i wasnt planning on using the molasses until the last 3/4 wks of flower just thought seeing as its so cheap might be worth testing it on a couple of plants ive read a few threads about it but wana see what the results are myself.

want to try pk 13/14 need to read up some more on that im shore theres plenty of old threads about that and the guy at the grow shop said the formula has been changed and its now ok for soil too??? The liquid quano thats the only one ive found ive heard of powder but dunno where to buy it plus seems easier if its liquid lol is it really that worse than the powder?

ive had and seen some real nice plants and yields from bio-bizz but the flavour of the smoke dusnt always seem great? even tho the bud looks lovely? i dont no if this has been bad drying/curing (most probably) or the nutes? but im gonna try some different nutes and dry/cure for longer and see.

and also outa the 9 at least 6 will be kept on bio-bizz nutes grow, bloom, topmax to the people who have used this, how closely do you stick to the chart that bio-bizz provides? im still in veg and still learning but this grow ive been giving the plants in the pic more than chart says, is this advisable with the bloom nutes aswel?

thanks

light burn sucks but as long as there aint no bud, theyll be alright... obviously the light burn wont heal, but the plant will be fine! Make sure you dont spray them with anything when the lights are on.... nor before the light goes off cause they could rot... ideal spraying time to avoid burn and rot is an hour or two before the lights come on!!

peace

ps i know you werent asking about spraying but i figured youd wanna know what not to do to avoid light burn:)

thanks jahtrip this is an on going argument with my growing partner, they all mist/spray there plants once maybe twice a day, but since doing some research im finding this to be bad pratice as from what ive read under a hps the water heats up and causes burn spots???

im not saying this has caused my light burn cause that was just the light being too close simple, but i personally am doing my best to spray/mist the plants as little as often since i read that its not good for the plants.
