Cool, feel free to comment everybody. I could always use some advice. I'll get some more pics in here tonight when the lights come on. Right now I am running the flowering area from 9PM EST to 9AM EST.
So many questions, and beautiful plants I might add. What did you start the seeds in, I'm thinking about getting some plastic cups to start mine? Just wondering what you used on the one that wasn't rockwool?

I just stuck the germinated seed in a half inch deep hole, in the pots they are in now. At this stage it's really easy to over think it, just like I did when I was over watering. Just remember to keep it simple: Dirt, a bit of water and a good amount of light, just don't send them tanning or swimming. ;) Good luck brother and thanks for stopping by.

The girls are looking good, just a little yellowing on that one, but it hasn't gotten worse since I backed off the watering.

looking good man! last year i had one in a pot that started to yellow like the one on the right......turns out it was the pot....the plant had reached the bottom of it and started to look crappy.....once transplanted to a bigger pot and babying for a few weeks it turned completly green again!

Food for thought, but I doubt it's root bound already. I could be wrong though, having never grown this strain.

may not be completely root bound....but the tap root may have hit the bottom of that pot already.....like u said just a little food for thot.....just thinking it may not be a bad idea to go ahead and transplant to their permanent (bigger) home(s).

Well it can't hurt, gonna have to transplant eventually anyway. That would make sense since the one in rockwool's tap root might not have grown as much as the one in soil. I'll see if Wifey will let me buy some soil tonight. +Rep

The closest store that might have that is like an hour drive away, thanks for the tip though. +Rep

It's like 4:30 in the morning. I've been working in the room since about 10pm. Updates after I wake up. Time for a lil smoke and then off to bed. Hopefully my kid won't wake up too early, he's not feeling well.

Looks great my friend.
Could you please pm me about your cloning design there.
I am having problems with keeping the soil warmer then the air...
I tried a zilla aquarium heat pad but it just plugs in ,
so no way to control temperature .
I need to keep it around 80-85 degrees.
Again your plants look very healthy.
It will be fun watching them mature!
Thanks man

My sister was trying to grow plants in that thing. I told her she was an idiot and took it for cloning LOL. It comes with a sponge, but that leaves me having to cut the sponge after the clones root.. not optimal obviously. Cut up some rockwool cubes, cut clones put 'em in the clones then just let the water run. Nothing fancy and the water temperature is controlled by the room temperature.

You could probably rig something out of a computer fan controller if the pad runs on 12v. You gotta find a fan controller that comes with a thermal probe then attach probe and the wires to your heat pad. Not 100% sure if that would work, but I don't see why not. Something like this should work, but I don't see how they don't sell heat matts with controllers.

A buddy of mine seems to think that the yellowing is caused by not having enough perlite in my mix, essentially binding up the tap root with a muddy mix. He thinks that re-potting and loosening up the rootball should help. If his logic is right that would mean that the plant in the rockwool is doing better because it is letting oxygen get to the root system where the dirt can't clump together. I am fairly confident in his skills so I am going to try to get some new potting mix this weekend and mix some perlite in this time.
