Do u think the gov't really destroys the thousands of tons of herb and coke they confiscate off of ships and trucks. My theory is that we deal it back to other countries to help our govt get out of debt, or at least thats what we should be doing, can u imagine our government having secret drug dealers that sell mass quantities to other countries. Where do i send my application????

The US Government was involved in trafficking cocaine to support operations to overthrow the elected government of Nicaragua in the 80's. Why not now? (They also sold weapons to Iran to raise money, but that's another story.)

CIA and Contras cocaine trafficking in the US - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There has been some speculation regarding covert operations funded by the Afghan opium trade, since 2002. I haven't seen anything concrete on that.

The pattern seems to be trafficking offshore drugs, rather than confiscated domestic drugs. This makes sense, there is too much paper-trail on the domestic stuff, plus the seized drugs are only a tiny fraction of the actual supply. It would be cheaper and easier to traffic the overseas supply.

(Yes, I have thought this one over...) :dunce:
