Old fridge good for clones & veg?

so check this out i have a 7x8x7 room and was gonna split it to do a flowering and veg room...what if i used an old fridge ans put clones in the freezer part and a veg room in the fridge part? How good would this work..i could put anpther tray in my flower room and harvest between crops even sooner...please let me know befor i make some major decisions on my set up...has anyone ever done this?:bigjoint:

well i made a veg box out of a broken washing machine that holds 12 1 gallon pots with 4 100 watt cfl's and 2 little fans works great so i don't see y a fridg wouldn't work. good luck "the power of dreams"

U NEED TO CUT HOLES TO VENT. both sides, why not just buy a grow tent santee hydro has one for 235 or something like that it is cheap no cut holes more room to breath and have a good reflective material inside bitchin set up i'm going to by one when i buy my new house this year and set up new grow room.peace bro!!

yeah, you'll have to cut vent holes and all that. but im sure you already knew that, lol,(no offense to other guy at all) the tent would be easier but the fridge should be alot more discreet, imo.

Hi just did what your thinking of and it working great. Have 2 100w CFL for top flowering with single fan with several ventilation holes with pvc piping in back to prevent light to show. i have 400w hps light in flowering box with hydro setup. i have temperatures stable at 72degrees in 24hr cycle station and 78degrees in flowering which is great when i have a hps light.
