power company at my door. What Now??

im in cali and have med recomendation. i live in a apartment. i have been gardening here for about 10 mo as far as i know my neighbors are all ok and my landlord is ok with it. i seem to have unwritten permission. today someone from the power company comes banging on my door says hes here to check the electricity. asks if my electricitys ok and that hes here for my unit i told him everythings good and he left. he only came to my door. they dont read meters today and my meter is outside and they dont come to door when they read meter. my bill is 450 every 2mo im in 1br im guessing this guy knew whats up if he has a sense of smell. what should i expect now? what should i do? is this common? has this happened to anyone?

he's gone..he just asked if my power was ok but its pretty clear he was just here because im using a lot of power....i probably should have just told him it was med even without being asked because now im wondering what might be next. im medical and its lagit i might be over my limit be certin interpertations but its within reason and where i am i think its on doctors to decide how much i need. im onld running 1 1000 watt and a dehumidifier and fans and some floro's im suprised im using enough juice to get a knock i here about people running multiple lights all the time why knock my door? is it common? i know im doing the right thing but i dont want the headach of legal issues...i dont want to be the one setting presidents should i break down my room? should i expect any follow up?

Must pay alot for the electricity in your region. I run a 430 watter, and a 1000 watter and multi fans, 5 pumps, Yada yada.. not even close to 450.. Im sorry.

Never give up more info than needed never. Even if the pigs come give them as little info as possible just tell them yes i am legally growing heres my papers and be done. Just because someone is saspicous doesnt mean they need to know.

Might wanna conserve electricity around your house. Turn off tv's your not watching etc.. Make an effort to reduce electricity consumption. I always walk around and turn off unused electrical devices. WhereIm at the price is 8 cents per kwh. Do you know your rate?

1 1000 on 24 hrs always floro tubes and cfls dehumid fans pumps and yeah im sure its expencive...i dont know the price per kwh
