quick question my friends.... how do i know what size pot i need to transfer my plants into? im looking for my plants to get around 4 ft no more than 5 ft i know to start flowering when my plants reach half or a little under half the size i want them to be...(or i was told to do that)

My tallest plant is about 2 1/2 feet tall right now, in an 8" pot. She started to need to be fed/soil ran out of nutes week 2 of flowering. No signs of root bound, but not planning on letting her get any taller. Currently week 4 flowering, journal has pics if interested.

Well. You should transplant about 3 times to get to your full pot size. Depends on how big your pots are now, but you should probably end up in a 5 gallon bucket. The plant grows just about as much aunderground as it grow above ground.

hey man i say 5inch pot to start and than 10inch at the end.. transfer 3-4 weeks in you should be good..

I wouldn't focus on container size. Instead, find a low growing strain, like an auto flowers. You can always top the plant. However, if you grow in a small container, you end up having health issues with the plant. That is, unless you grow them bonzi style, where you trip the roots.

3-5 gallon pots(10-12") will work great. Any bigger, and you're wasting soil and floorspace. The bigger pots give you the advantage of waiting longer in between waterings, but that's about it, for plants of that size.

well the rule is for every foot of growth use one gallon.
so if you want it to get 4-5 ft tall then you will need your final pot to be about 4-5 gallon size pot
