Does anyone know any tips for producing around 350/400 grams per plant?

Hey everyone,

Im looking for experienced growers to give me some tips on producing aroun 300/400 grams per plant.

Example:

So far Ive heard that simply leaving the plants in veg for longer will produce more bud.

Any other tips would be greatly aprreciated. IT WOULD ALSO BE GREAT IF THE INFO PUT HAS BEEN DONE AND PROVEN SO I DONT F**K UP ALL MY s**T

I have little personal experience but i have read alot of threads, articles, etc...and im up this late so i'll try to help but there are alota factors that decide you overall yield..lights, nutes, genetics, etc...

Some genetics give you more weight than others so get a genetic that yields large
Training- Im trying scrog for the first time cause all the good things i read about so depending on your grow situation you can try different methods
and ofcourse lights and nutes...what is your setup like now?

I have never heard of anyone getting that much off a plant except in the case of outdoor grows. You can get serious payloads outdoors. But you're talking borderline 1 pound per plant, and that is probably only left to the masters when it comes to indoors.

Mind you, I haven't been around that long.

You take the risk when you experiment with mother nature. If you think it sounds legit, try it. If it fails, it's no one's fault but your own.

theres only one way to do that lots of light.....I mean LOTS of light like 2-3000 per plant onthe sides, top, and bottom. them veg them for atleast 6weeks from clone

ive tried LST and topping, the topping seems to be a good idea i ended up coming out with 4 cola's. The LST seems to work great! i have a Super Skunk that is almost 4ft. tall..... but i have it tied down and it seems to me that its allowed more attention from the lights onto my branches causing me to have pretty decent size buds all over my plant. This is a shitty set up but im happy with it for my first grow... (not anywhere near 300 grams but you can see that this would work if i had n\done other things a little differently.

FIM the plant, veg for 2-3 months and use alot of high wattage verticle lighting and it will still be tough to do

I have only personally seen outdoor yield that much. I am sure someone will hit you up with all kinds of indoor secrets such as FIM or other pruning techniques, which work wonders indoors. I would say if you can get an oz per indoor plant, your doing well, and certian fert/pruning/grow methods can definatly increase that. But 400 grams worth? I don't have any advice on that one. Check into FIM, and supercropping if everything else works great for you, these methods can help.

I usually get around 4 oz's a plant dry but I also veg tell they are at least3 or 4feet tall before flowering but that's only 112 grams per plant dry

Yeah ok I stand corrected. It can be done indoors. But let's look at the numbers. That latest harvest he pulled was 12pounds from 4 plants. They were started from clones, vegged for 8 weeks, and flowered for ~9 we'll say.

So in total we'll say 17 weeks of growth(ownership) on those plants. He used 4 600w.

So 12 pounds = 5448grams
With a per wattage production of 1.513g/w over 17 weeks. Not bad! But the same is possible with only a 12 week cropout cycle.

I get the feeling he does what he does because he WANTS to go big. Those numbers are still quite impressive though if you look at it in terms of maintenance per plant. It would be hard to produce the same poundage with the same minimal setup growing average sized plants. But with some more investment in equipment (for more plants), it's definitely possible to get the same payouts, more often.

My conclusion... try it out! If you got a big enough room. The disadvantage of having big plants though is well... you have big plants. And with bigger plants come bigger problems to solve. With small plants, although you are taking care of more, the payouts come more often, and you thus significantly decrease your chances of failing your whole crop.
