I'm new to growing indoors, and there are so many different products to choose from. I'm not sure what to use at all let alone why.:wall: where should I go to find this information? Please feel free to post what fertilizers and or nutrients you use in your grow op and why.:leaf:

if ur a beginer i woulg recomend the fox farm line up , their good and decently priced,
yah, although you didn't say if you are planning on a soil grow or hydro, id say go with the fox farms line up as well.. they have the trio of tiger bloom, big bloon and grow big for around $60 or so, and they make them for both soil and dro systems.. you can get good results with ff's and its very user friendly.. they come with easy to follow directions with the trio.. you can also get the trio supplements of open sesame, beastie blooms and cha ching for more growth and bigger flowers for an additional $60 or so and have a great lineup of nutes that will take you from seed to flower with no problems..

If you want to spend lots of money go with fox farm. They have about the most over priced stuff on the market. read the FAQ to get a idea of what you want to use.
first grow? get yourself some no nute potting soil and mix 1/3 perlite with it. add 1 tsp. garden line per gal of soil. then pick up some alaska fish fert. you can get both veg and flower nutes from them. It's ez to use and low cost.

the veg suff smells like the bottom of a old fishing boat. the flower stuff not so bad. the alaska fish fert is a lilly miller product, an is all over. I've never used hempy buckets so don't know the answer to that.

this is kinda a hard subject to give advice on cuz every one has differnet opinions on different products, pretty much it comes down to how much u want to spend,

So your saying a no note soil mixed with perlite will cause burn? I've grown close to a 70 plants with that set up and with that set up I've never had a problem with any burn. It's very hard to burn your plants with fish fert. Most beginiers tend to over fert. I did. That set up is very ez to use. Are there better ways to grow? yes there is. I no loner use that set up. If you like ff use it. I just posted a ez set up.

I plan on running soil and I plan on not running MG or any other time release. what about things like carb loading, and or a final phase nutrient. Or maybe i should stick to the basic 2 part fets until i learn more? Good stuff so far tho.

Kind of my point. It's all about learning how to grow. What works for one doesn't allways work for someone else. I'm in coco atm and have a new fert for this grow. I was feeding 75-!00% nute mix for the last 2 weeks and just now had a slight nute burn. backed off the nutes for 2 feedings and all is good. Some day I hope to have it all fiured out. there are lots of good growers at RIU just find one or two you like and go with what they tell you. Nothing wrong with hearing form everyone but you'll see some just don't have a clue. I add molasses to my nutes but haven't played with any of the others. first grow you might just stick to the basics. It sucks to grow for a few months just to screw it up at the end.
