How I'd Grow if I Grew.

Ok this is my second grow just harvested my first grow got 2.5 oz off a really ghetto set up only had 110w of CFL and MG soil and nutes with 2 White Widow seeds luckly they both ended up female. This grow though I have upgraded pretty much everything and planted my last 6 WW seeds here is my set up.

Space: 5x4 walkin closet.

Lights: 110w cfl during seedling, 400w MH for veg, and 400w HPS for flower.

Medium: Black Gold orgainic poting soil.

Nutes: Botanicare Pro Grow 3-2-4, Pro Bloom 1-4-5, Cal Mag suppliment 2-0-0, Clearex for flushing and I plan to buy Liquid Karma as well.

Containers: 18oz Party Cups, 3 gal pots.

Seeds: 6 reg White Widow (WW) from http://www.amsterdammarijuanaseeds.com/product_info.php?id=n1098436557135636506813643&currency=49&product_id=1

Ok so to germ I soaked them in 6.0 phed water for 24 hours. After a 24 hour soak none of the seeds cracked open but I was trying Riddleme's method of germing so I filled up the 6 jiffy pots halfway then just pushed some dirt over the seeds and used ziplock bags over the tops for ghetto humidity domes. After 3 days 4 out of the 6 sprouted and 2 days later 1 more sprouted still waiting on number 6. Just got done cleaning out the grow room hanging up the mylar and lights and puting everything back and did a dry run. With the doors closed my temps hit 90 degrees F but i plan on taking the door down and replacing it with that black/white material and investing in a carbon filter and inline fan since i can't cut a whole in the door because I rent and there really isn't enough room to open and close the door with the 6 pots w/o moving one. So until then I will just leave the door open when the lights are on like last time. Here are some pics coments, critics, advisors, and praise all welcome! Enjoy! Shooting for 1/2lb this time guys think this is possible with the new set up? Let me know your thoughts will be updating often.

D83, it looks like you have most of the bases covered - if it were me I'd seriously consider putting a tarp down. When you spill it will make cleanup that much easier.

Yeah I was thinking about throwing the 400 mh on them because they really are stretchin pretty bad ,will the mh stop that?

This is my first time using it I really wanted FF but not available locally and shiping on soil to alaska is unreal so thought id give this a try. Ill let you know though

Hmm they are stretching pretty bad i have them right up on the CFLs so I don't know unless the 400 mh will make them stretch less then what can i do?

Put your mh on them. Mine stretch like that until I put the big light on them. Just bury the extra stems when you up pot.

I only use Black Gold, and I get great results from it. Since the first time I bought it I was hooked! As far as covering your carpet with a tarp, I like to use 6 mil Black & White Poly Plastic. Good to have you along zoso and thanks speaking of that last grow so i put some of it in a lil baby jar so what i dip into everytime i smoke doesnt change the air in the jars im curing in and its been kinda gettin me high but not really... but today..... holy shit i am baked man wonder how good the shit has gotten in the other jars lol!

On another note the 6th seed just sprouted so thats 6 for 6 they all sprouted! Its been kind of difficult for me to keep the soil evenly moist with the soil around the jiffy pots in those party cups so I am about to transplant them and put them in the closet. heres a pic of tardaisha lol and the girls just wattered them and they kind of leaned over on me... or do you guys think i should leave the new one under the cfls longer so she can be transplanted in the new homes up to her first set of leaves hmm let me know what you think ill hold off awhile . sorry so long im stoned lol. HAHAHAHA havent even loaded the pics on the cpu yet told you i was stoned wow my camera sucks you cant see what that 3rd one is at all supposed to be tardaisha

so i decided to wait untill sunday to transplant the stretching seems to have slowed after moving the girls like 1 inch from the light, but i did go ahead and water them right not just mist them this got the soil nice and moist even outside the jiffy pot.

on another note i smoked hash for the first time last night i really didnt have much trim only the two plants put it straight in the pipe though got 2 bowls worth and it got me high as fuck so who cares first grow first batch of hash and now...... Im making canna butter for the first time and am about to make cookie brownie bars!!! lol EXCITED never ate weed before either popping alot of cherries in 2010 lol. all the reciepies i saw for making butter where talking about using a oz of leaves or shake to 1lb of butter but im using some prime so i figured id use a 1/4 oz to half lb of butter. lol dont have but 2.35oz to work with dont want to use it all up here are some pics of my kitchen experiment ill let you guys know how it goes.

the girl are having a bad day left the fan on them all night then forgot to turn it off when i went to work and half of them are leaning way way over turned the fan off though and made it where they were all leaning away from the light. im thinking they should lean back towards it in a few hours.

I've got her drying now - no need to hurry
and rush things, my stock of weed is OK .
The z of hash was made with the trim of 10 plants (last grow) I used the ice-o-lator bags & the results Rock !!

I have always left my fans on 24/7, and the plants grow very thick, sturdy trunks - and you're right, they will turn back towards the light in a very short time.
