who wants to lower taxes for small business and INDIVIDUALS? conservatives. who wants to drill for our own energy? conservatives. who wants to stop illegal aliens from walking across the border and taking your job? conservatives

dont believe that bullshit that they are the same. they arent. thats what they tell you when they want you to give up. i aint giving up.

are there some R's that act like D's and viceversa. yep. are there people that believe in the power of the individual and freedom. fuckin A dude. and thats who i am gonna continue to vote for.

I like what Thomas Sowell has to say on the difference between Ds and Rs...
:bigjoint:

Some people say that there is no real difference between Republicans and Democrats. Whether that is said because of being too lazy to examine the differences or because it makes some people feel exalted to say, in effect, “a plague on both your houses,” it is a dangerous self-indulgence.

When Republicans were in power, they acted too much like Democrats, with big spending and earmarks, lending weight to the notion that there is no real difference.

Among the differences between the parties is that Democrats are more articulate.

Congratulations on your big win. It's bound to happen eventually. Maybe you've noticed the big picture - power keeps going back and forth between the sides. Every time one side gets more power, the dedicated partisans of that side practically break their arms patting themselves on the back - the american people have spoken, they've seen the light, we're so smart and righteous, blah blah blah... Unfortunately, there's a ton of bullshit that stays exactly the same, no matter which side has control. But, congratulations on your win, I'm sure your guys have it all figured out. It's going to be paradise.
So simple and basic yet so many fail to see this basic observation.

I've seen people who hold "liberal values" denounce the democrats in gov. time and time again when they fuck up or do something stupid... It's really rare that I see the same from the right, whose sides reps. do exactly the same kind of shit.

Religion again plays a part in this. I couldn't give a fuck less what the rep. in my state or district believes in (unless it's literal creationism), conservatives generally do. So who cares about the atheist with the great ideas, let's vote for the believer with mediocre ones... :dunce:

Great post, +rep, I agree.

A little off topic. I just finished the documentary, Walmart: The high cost of low prices. You can watch it right now on netflix. But Im sure you all must know the story behind walmart keeping its workers so poor they either had to stay on public assistance to support thier famlies or get on it. And thats just one topic they touched on. Wal-mart also has an anti-union hotline that an employee can call should anyone talk of unions or striking. But the waltons are capitalist filth that live off of the backs of poor poeple and want to keep it that way. They donate millions of dollars to change public policy to suit thier interests such as fight port security and food safety regulations, but couldnt donate more than 6,000$ to aid thier workers. And the funny thing is that wal-mart is portrayed as this all American company and thier about the american dream and are at the very least ethical. But thats an illusion. The capitalist and republicans are to thank for this wal-mart mess thats taken over our country. Wal-mart has no principals. But yet thier now an american icon and noone can stop this economic juggernaut. Not to mention the communities wal-mart has distroyed. The end of the film was terriffic when the small community got togeather and stopped a walmart from coming to thier town. Thats american! But yet still wal-mart is paraded as an american success story. They lie to the masses who they know are ignorant and dont think about where are my products coming from, who made them etc. Wal-mart shoppers are not ethical nor do they care to be. Thier low prices are coming at a very high cost indeed. Being ignorant is one of them.
If my country was ran the way these neocons on this thread would like....well I cant really say what I would do over the internet but In my older years I would form a group of old men who wanted to change the world. And thats what we'd do. Simple as that.
But yeah, rush needs to be dick slapped.

I don't think they're all the same. I only said: Unfortunately, there's a ton of bullshit that stays exactly the same, no matter which side has control. I think there are plenty of differences - enough to get me out voting. Sure, there are plenty of things that don't change much, whichever side has more power... but each side has a lot of pros/cons that are fairly unique to their party. Jeff just gave a list of what he thinks is good about conservatives, and bad about liberals. Someone else listed a bunch of bad points about conservatives earlier in the thread (which started the whole 'who is more likely to support legalization' sub-topic). There are plenty of bad points to go around on both sides... I just don't get the conservative cheerleaders around here that think that if the liberals got out of the way we'd be in some sort of conservative utopia.

First off, he was the one who brought the porno DVD over. I had no "secret" intentions or none of that shit. He brought it over and it was like he said, '"check this stuff out dude, it is totally hot". And it was. It was 3 way sex, 2 guys and one girl, but no gay stuff. My fuckin' dick was stiff as a fuckin' rock. Remember that I was totally buzzed, but I do not offer this as an excuse. Anyway, I have been around for many years, my kids are grown. I have not gone through with this yet, but so what if I do? I would never tell any redneck stoner budies about it if I did it, why the fuck should they judge me? I'm just an older lonely guy with some kninky sex ideas. Big fuckin deal. Anyway, I am going to hang out with "Jack" this Wednesday and get totally baked. Anyone want to hear what happens?
sorry had to be done

"Are you in prison?

If the answer is 'no,' and a dude sucks you off. That's gay.

It does not make you gay, just gay/curious."

These answers are just getting dumb. . . Like me thinking I would actually get some serious responses here. Anyway, I am meeting this dude tomorrow. I am horny as fuck and want to get my cock sucked. We will see what happens. I have decided to be open minded about this. Who knows, I might even suck his cock. Not any experience with cocks though. Anyway, if you are interested, let me know. If you are REALLY interested PM me and we'll go from there.
and then again--------TROLL?

Exactly as Leo said;

Unfortunately, there's a ton of bullshit that stays exactly the same, no matter which side has control.

The two party system is an illusion to make you think you can make some sort of difference, which is why voting only changes the faces, not the policies.

no rush didnt say it. its made up. i have been listening to rush for a long time and he has never made fun of someone with a drug problem. just the opposite. whenever he hears of someone who has been addicted he always wishes them luck. but hey, your mind is poisened and you wont believe me anyway. goes with the territory...
Is this before or after Rush's Oxcontin incident? Because he had a different view before. I wonder if he thinks he himself should have been "sent up"

"Drug use, some might say, is destroying this country. And we have laws against selling drugs, pushing drugs, using drugs, importing drugs. And the laws are good because we know what happens to people in societies and neighborhoods which become consumed by them. And so if people are violating the law by doing drugs, they ought to be accused and they ought to be convicted and they ought to be sent up."
-- Rush Limbaugh.

"What this says to me is that too many whites are getting away with drug use, too many whites are getting away with drug sales, too many whites are getting away with trafficking in this stuff. The answer to this disparity is not to start letting people out of jail because we're not putting others in jail who are breaking the law. The answer is to go out and find the ones who are getting away with it, convict them and send them up the river, too."
-- Rush Limbaugh.

i just thought it would be comical in the thread bashing repub's to show a post where you say you would be embarrassed " I would never tell any redneck stoner budies about it if I did it"----------------lol
and in that post i didn't think you were GAY-just curious
i think you are a very confused individual that can hardly call anyone fucked in the head-you're setting the bar
