Seedlings Leaves Facing Down.

My seedlings have hatched but there stems are bent right over so the leaves are facing the floor, is this something i should be worried about?

probably yes. A picture would clear this up better but im assuming your little sprout came out of the ground grew a few inches and fell over right? This is stopped by having more and better quality light and strengthing the stalk. Until you clear that up and give more details about what your using to grow and/or post a pic thats all I can really say.

no, you've got this wrong, it grew straight but still had the seed which was heavy so the stem bent at the top. imagine a lampost the way it bends over, same thing with the leaves facing down instead of up.

If that's the case then I would say to just leave it alone.

Yeah i was thinking maybe it would bent back up once it grows a little stronger and gets used to the location of the light?

Thanks for the help.

i agree don't touch it. If it's a good seedling, it's right itself, if not it'll wither and die...which is good too as you won't get anything good out of it if it's a crap seed.

I figured i'd let you all know that after a full 24 hours in the light they soon straightened out and are now all looking really healthy :)
