Carbon filter question?!

Okay so I found this aquarium filter that looks like a brillo pad. Heres the link: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=11535134

I was thinking about just gluing it to my intake/exhaust fans.

If you have any suggestions just tell me.

This "might"work?I think everyone has gone through building our own scrubber's,light system's,computer fan's wired to cell phone adapter's,ect. I did.And in the end I found it was way cheaper to just save up & buy the proper equippment.www.htgsupply.com has a 4'jr carbon filter for $49.95 or the entire combo for $129.95 I do know dryer sheets will cover the smell of small grow's.Hope this help's?Good luck & Happy farming.

Alright, the sake of this grow is on defeating the smell. And I've heard of the dryer sheet trick. Lol. I'll use that too.
But i'm looking up videos on youtube on making DIY filters.

Nothing will beat spending $60 on a real carbon filter.

depending on the strain, that prefilter you have isn't going to cut it. i have blue mystic flowering in the house with no filters and you can smell a thing. The last batch of white rhino stunk up the whole house

don't think it will work.needs to be ative carbon
