Ok all have sprouted and were under way!
Looking good not much else to report on, temps are kicking at 20-22 degrees il start with some food in around 2 weeks.
1 of the kushes has ended up in the side of the pot think its when i first watered and the soil started sinking like a bitch.
Should have watered first then dropped her in :wall: but oh well think she might have to be transplanted early

not to worry, i've done the same this grow, but despite transplanting her in the wrong place none the less :P she went traight for the light like the others :)

Do ya not rekon the roots would start to grow in the wrong direction, because if they cant stretch to the side where its close to the pot could they be affected at all do u think?
 
can't really give a factual answer, but the 3 plants were all planted and transplanted same day, and they're all at the same point on the road right now
 
only really top notch buds i've smoked was in amsterdam a few years ago, but back then, it was nothing more than weeeeeeeeeeeeeed and a name was a name for names sake :) i'm more learned nowadays, so am looking forward to it greatly :)

the first 2 cheese went into flowering at different times due to some fabulous intelligene on my behalf, but they should be finnishing off the alst week of febuary :) hopefully getting a second 400w funds depending so i can throw the other 2 cheese into 12/12 beginning of febuary :) let the perpetual begin :) gotta earn a shit load of money to cover y recent costs though. might have an idea or two
 
i'l be doing updates every week, they are now 1 week old and are doing great.
the leaves however are creasing upwards i think it could be the heat from the light so il move them down a notch, sharksbreath had some big ass leaves already, will start the baby bio next week thinking im gonna make the switch to 12 12 afer another 3-4 weeks then the 400 watter can have her say!! :-P

Getting a bit cocerned about this creasing of the leaves, its only really on the rocklock. iv moved her away from the light a tad more.
Can anyone suggest what its from?
gotta be the heat im thinking.
on the + side they are all growing very well impressed by how much they have grown in a week, il update on saturday.
 
I've never had my leaves curl up like that and I'm in about the hottest climate plants can take. However, my White Satins, I guess, are known for their heat tolerance, so maybe that's why. But usually, when they get overheated, I noticed that they tend to get more brownish on the edges. I'm no expert, though, you should certainly try to get a second opinion. However, whatever is causing it doesn't look threatening, so I wouldn't sweat it too much. See if backing them away from the light helps at all and let us know if you see a difference over the next few days.

hey coral yea thats right they burn brown on the edges of the leaves so it does seem strange, maybe cos their still only over a week old and might be a lil sensitive to the hps. also the rocklock has sativa in her and the leaves are skinnier than the ones on the others.
Someone said to just shift the light along so there not directly under it so iv done that so theres less heat on them.
temps are still only around 20-24 degrees right under the light.
How are your satins doing?

just to say these babies are really taking off!
gave them there first half strength dose of the bio tonight, i see a difference in the creasing of leaves on the rocklock seem to have stopped as i moved her from directly under the light. saturday is the start of week two so il post pics then , sharksbreath and kush r lookin sweet!!

Yeah, man. I give them less than a week. Waiting for the trichs at this point. Got a good amount of red hair. Check my journal, I posted a couple pix yesterday. But I'm definitely gonna post an album of them when they get cut down. I have 2 that will be ready in that time; Emily and Bree. Bree is like the super model of all the white satins I've had. She shimmers as if there was frost all over her. Seriously, even the fan leaf stems have crystals all over them! Oh, man, I can wait! Well, I can, but my pipe and I will be having a major party the day she's finally done curing. I'm actually thinking of trying water curing with about 1/4 of the yield I get so I can see how that compares. :bigjoint:

P.S.
Oh yeah, HPS on the little seedling is a very good culprit for the leaf curling! Glad you got it sorted 8)
 
yeah, i think you did good to move them. my 400w has a cooltube so can do it just about alright, although i have witnessesd weird growth under it at first, like mutant leaves and crinkly plants etc.

once you get them on the nutes they should start to rocket off man :)

Im yet to try this water curing it does sound good might give it a shot myself with some of this lot. enjoy those satins man should be a good smoke for sure il pop in to ur journal and take a peak.

thats exactly what it was, id love to get a cooltube do you know if i can buy 1 to attach to my bulb or are there specific lights that come with them?
