Think these are lookin ok, what does everyone think? these first four are at about day 15-16 and the last is about day 13. He's a little bruised, but expecting a full recovery like the others.
It looks to me like it's gonna go for double colas on all of these, but I'd like to know what someone more knowledgeable thinks.

Hey Grow, how do you determine that? I mean, I have all different sizes of stalks ... obviously the stem is the thickest, and the branches are different thicknesses. So, which one do you test to see if it snaps or not? My brother seems to think that my little 10" plant won't take more than 4 days, tops. Said not to dry it till it gets mummified! :)

Sup melissa a week should be ample,, they are dried correctly when the stalk snaps rather than bends:leaf::leaf:,, just a matter of will power, its tough when yr fruits are all but a smoke away from you but the taste is much richer when fully dried .Are you going to be curing??
Peace.

So sorry for so many questions, but I've been collecting for quite some time till I found you guys! LOL

Anyway, I have two PC Grow cases ... one for the short veg cycle (with 6500 27W CFLs) and one for flowering (with 2700 30W CFLs). I see you talking about much more wattage than what I have ... but my cases only hold CFLs with the regular-sized bottoms (like you would fit in a table lamp). I know I could get more production with more wattage ... but wanna stick w/the CFLs. Suggestions?

Thank you, SO very much, for all of your help!

mel, since your wanting to stay with cfl, have you thought about t5 panels? I mean some small ones of course, your pc's won't work with them, but you can keep your grow small still, and you'll get a lot better lumens and spread them out eficently, maybe find a 2' 4 bulb fixture and 2 singles for the sides, somewhere around $150. You should still run good temps, and you should produce tighter buds. Its just an idea, i'm no specialist. Anybody else think this would work ok? I don't think it would have to be too much bigger than a pc grow, just find something a little bigger to stay stealthy, or just make a little wood box, paint it pretty on the outside, white on on the inside, mount a pc fan or two on the back and boda bing.

this is the best thread for AF's....I read about 100 pages in 2 days. All of you guys get props from me..I learned alot on here. I recently purchased 5 fem blueberry autos from lowlife. Got one see germin right now, just starting off with one for trial and error. They say this strain is reaaaal sensitive to nutes, so im just using some organic soil, and might add a little bit og guano around week 3, we'll see when the time comes. Im gonna start off 24-0 on the lighting, then drop 18'6 around the halfway mark, then (maybe) drop it down again 16-8 the last final weeks. I'll post a journal and pics along the way.....got 2 lights i got from a buddy who had a hydro set up awhile ago, and the smalled hps light i ever seen. i figure that would be enough, i might not even use the hps this run, i dunno what do you guys think??? PEACE

Melissa - If you want to stick with the PC cases, I have 2 options for you that I think may work. The first link is for a 42w bulb that put out 800 more lumens per bulb.

The 2nd link is for a 105w CFL that will put out a whopping 4200 MORE lumens than your 30w.

Both bulbs will fit into the same socket that you are using now, but the 105w may not fit in the case without modifying the position of the socket. It is 13.2" long and 3.15" wide. if it would fit it would be your best bet, but you would need to keep an eye on heat.

KushKidd - As far as your lights go, if you can fit em, use em. The more the merrier for sure! That HPS will have much higher light penetration than the CFLs have giving you denser buds and more lower growth.

I went ahead and had Potroast change the first post for me. Instead of saying AF strains are not cloneable, which is technically false, it now says that they are. Here is how it reads now for anyone who doesnt want to click back:

Can you clone an AF strain? AF strains CAN be cloned. However, the clone will be the same "age" as the plant the clone was taken from and finish at the same time. This can be done with success but keeping an AF strain in veg to use as a mother plant is not possible. Typically, most will pollinate their ladies to keep a seed stock going instead of cloning.

Let me know what you guys think. I am by no means a professional and I try to state fact as much as possible but no one is perfect. The last thing I ever want to do is misinform, so Ill do my best to keep up with the facts.

Peace

Thanks so much! But I really need to stay w/my PCs right now. I put a lot of $$ into the setup I have and can't afford to change it much. Plus, I'm not exactly 'handy' at all. :(

KG, thank you a TON for the links! I just with I hadn't bought a bunch of my other bulbs from Amazon! :) Oh well, will try to see if I can find some of these higher wattage bulbs locally! You ROCK!
