Well it seems a few people are interested in my girls so I guess I'll start a journal as requested. Seems that people are still skeptical about LED's. There are alot of supporters as well..So, here goes. This is my 2nd LED grow, and y 1st legal1.

Alaskan Ice (white widow haze cross) from Greenhouse seeds
Seeds were planted with a dab of juicey roots (advanced nuts) this experiment gave GREAT results
Fox farm ocean forest 70% peralite 30%
Max crop liquid kelp 1tsp per gallon during seedling stage. Diluted down to 10% mix to 90% water.
Fox farm big bloom same mixture.
2 sunlight system glow panel 45's

Pics are 1 to 2 weeks from sprout.

Uhhh aren't those a little far away? I would get them closer, plants are looking a little stretchy

Yeah #1 has a little stretch but nothing to worry about. GHS even says this strain is a little stretchy. I can try to get some better pics.

It doesn't matter what strain your growing, with the lights that far off the tops you are going to have stretching
I would have those much much closer, drop them like 6" and you would be much better off

Oh...LoL...I thought you meant my pics....I moved the lights up a little so I could get them in my shot. Like I said this strain is a little stretchy as admitted by the breeder. believe me the pics dont do justice. #1 is a little stretchy but her nodes are only an inch and a 1/2 apart, and I can live with that. 3 of these are inteded to be mother plants and will never see flower until I have cloned the hell out of them. The 4th plant was stunted from birth. So I will flower her for personal use..

Sorry I havent been here for a while, been getting things ready for spring. but here are some photos of my girls 3 weeks into flower. Although they are all the same strain from the same breeder, my #1 plant is showing very sativa like traits and is 2.5 ft. taller that her sisters!!

Okay.... Its been awhile and I've been busy getting ready for outdoor. so heres some pics of this grow I took the other day. 7 weeks into flower 3-6 left to go, very sativa dominant. Had to pull the runt but got 16 successful clones out of these girls, cant wait to grow this outdoors.

P.S. I'll upload more pics later.

I would stick with the t-5s for veg, you aren't going to get any better growth by switching to LEDs

And you know this how? Have you actually used LED's? well I'll tell you from my experience the LED's definately veg faster, bigger, better. You notice the HPS lamp in the pic too?...That is 1 of 2 600 watters that will never be used again either, at least by me. My clones needed to be ready for spring, and I had to use what I have right now.

so in ur opinion do all ur LED's put together work better than the to 600w HPS? Because i would find that hard to believe...only from personal experience

For the 4x4 space I'm growing in right now I would say yes. I would say they work better. When I get my new shed built I know I'm gonna need more power as far as LED's go, and in the long run it will be worth it. Plus my outdoor crops pay fo my indoor toys.
