how big an area & how much do you need to raise it? a pan of water left open or a few wet towels will help in a small area.a humidifier for larger areas

Put a pan of water infront of a fan.

im growing with a similar space size and i went out and bought a cool mist humidifier from wally world for $15.. cooled my box down and raised the humidity from 36% to 43%.. so im in a better shape now. hope this helps.. good luck with ur grow..:weed:

Bobs advice is sound.but if you want/need to go cheap,I found another post where someone suggested filling a pan w/ perlite & adding water.the perlite will wick the water up & help it evaporate faster.

sorry, search a little but could not find it.not missing much- same as this thread but someone suggested instead of a pan of water, fill it w/ perlite & 1/4 water- the perlite will wick the water up and have more surface area to evaporate.dont know for sure if it helps but the idea is sound

sounds pretty simple.. i will give it a try.. as of now my temp is at 74F.. and my humidity is around 26%.. if i throw a little 6 inch fan in there will it lower or raise the humidity.?
