Help my plants are showing little holes, missing areas on the leaves, under side very, very small moving black specks w/white ends. They are on only one strain (Duck foot) my other strain (Black berry) are right in w/ infested ones and no sign on them anywhere. These plants have been vegging for 13 weeks and I was going to send them into budding but I don't think I should until I get rid of these bastards. Anyone out there, what should I use on them? How often????????????????? What a bummer I veg. so long to get more buds and now bugs----------HELP.

Sounds like spider mites or something... There is a spray to get rid of them. Go to your local hydro shop and grab some specialty product for your concern. Good luck

its called AZA that they will sell you. Put a tsp per quart, or tbl spn per quart if plants are big and strong

spray underside of the leaves, and top side, but under is more important.

do it right when lights go out, or 1 min before, otherwise youll burn leaves.

then do it again in 3 days. The eggs hatch then. Keep doing it every 3 days till they are gone.

In the mean time, order BUHACH powder from alaska. Its a powder. You can put it in a tunafish can, and lite it, and it sits there and smoulders...

anyway... it not only kills bugs, but it scares them away.

same thing with eggs tho... you have to do it repetitiously.

best do do this, and turn off room exhaust fan, that way the smell and smoke it makes stays around for a while.

Order a couple cans of BUHACH powder, but use AZA in the meantime.

I had to end my CFL tent grow after i had the biggest infestation of spider mites ive ever seen. It was my 2nd grow and i and i had no idea. The buds were only just forming so i just drowned my babys because they were living all through it. It only took them a few weeks,so get it sorted asap!

OKAY BUT i HAVENT CUT THE LIGHTS BACK YET, SO SHOULD I BEFORE I GET RID OF THEM?I WOULD HAVE TO INORDER TO BE ABLE TO DO IT, RIGHT?

if you haven't put them on 12 / 12 you can use a much more aggressive attack than you should if you are in budding...

I would get busy on these spider mites .... azatrol works great ... mix up a 5 gallon bucket and dip the whole plant in there and use as a soil drench ...

spider mites area bitch you have to spray every 7 days for ever to get rid of them....

spray every where under leaves especially....

spray when lights are off or you will burn the shit outta your plants.... spray under tables in the corners.... everywhere .
spray mothers .. keep after it .... if you cant get them beat down with azatrol you will have to get something more toxic like Pyrethrins..

Pyrethrin is extremely toxic to aquatic life, such as bluegill and lake trout while it is slightly toxic to bird species, such as mallards. Toxicity increases with higher water temperatures and acidity. Natural pyrethrins are highly fat soluble, but are easily degraded and thus do not accumulate in the body. These compounds are toxic to bees also.

you have a battle on your hands but you can win but you have to spray on a schedule every 5-7 days ... this kills the adults but the eggs will continue to hatch so spray again before the newly hatched ones mate and lay more eggs...

spider mites left unchecked will take over your whole grow fast...

these little bastards will put webs all over your bud and wreck everything..

heed this warning!!!!never wait around to see if the problem will go away....not saying you would but just trying to light the fire so to speak.peace
