Basic question on aerogarden.

I am an outdoor grower and i am looking to start messing around with the aerogarden. My question is.. can i just buy the aerogarden and use it as is or do i need to buy extra lights, better nutes or a water pump? Can i veg inside and move outside or will the roots be a problem? thank you

you can grow with what you get in the box, but you wont yield more than a quarter or so. but i wouldnt put it outside, inside is far better.

Save your money man. I have read of people doing clones in them until roots develop and then moving. There are cheaper and better ways to do it though. The roots get pretty crowded in there and it is hard to untangle them. But I am guessing it could be done if you really wanted to.
