Out here in CO we have medical mj and conceal and carry...yep we love our guns and our mj.

We also have "Make My Day' laws... protection of life AND property! By property that means anything I own on my property OR off.

at my high school, only those who were too lazy to take P.E., or those who were failing horribly took it

Not true, if you waited for a burglar with a weapon and then used it you would get jailed. In self defense you can get away with murder...The guy that shot the lad dead was waiting for him with his gun at the top of the stairs hence his jail term...

I think mid December a story emerged about the predicament I wrote, the guy got a suspended jail sentance.

That's true enough ...

But, once the ROTC is there, ppl will join, an example will be set in place. It's not for everyone, but it's still a reminder worth having. It's a community builder.
