its not the size of the seed.. more whats in the seed.. the smallest seed can make the largest plant as long as the DNA in the seed is from strong large parents... for instance... bagseed (although you can find a gem or two amongst them) by and large has much weaker genetics than most breeder/seed bank seeds.. this is why bagseed grows out (typically) less potent, smaller, and often mutant looking plants... but i think you have the right idea... gotta start out with good seeds to grow a good plant....
BB seeds has a nice selection.. i havent grown any strains personally from them.. so i cant comment first hand.. but on the same note i have never read any complaints about them.. see plenty of grows using them.. so i suspect they are good...
i have personally had the best results with g-13 labs and sagamartha seeds...
