well the first light would be for flowing and the cfl would be for veg... sooo i would get both if possible and mix them up

say i got 3 300w cfls dual spectrum would that be enough for 4 plants?
because if i got the grow light i would still need a 300w bulb to get them going because i do not see the point in using the growlight to get tiny litle seedlings going plus they could burn

so i would end up spending around 1oo quid anyway on the growlight and cfl
and i will not be doing any grows larger than 4/5 plants so would it be necessary to get the big grow light or should i just get cfls and if so how many?
just realised how much i asked lol

i cant find where it says how many lumens are put out by the 300 watt cfl, and how big is your grow space. For veg, you only need to use the blue specturm cfls and for flowering you should mix spectrums for best result 5/4 ratio ( red to blue)

haha i understand, its snowing were i live so i have no choice but to grow inside. But i would just get 3 of those cfls if possible ( all blue ) to start out with and add if/when needed ( mostlikly in a few months ) and by that time you may have more money. Probly around week 6 or 7 youll neeed more light to get the great yeield you want.

one more thing so if i bought one actual not equivilant 300w dual spec cfl and maybe 2 125 w dual spectrum would that be enough for a good grow with 4 plants?
or should i get the 600w grow light, it will cost less ansd will get better results??
would it be worth starting the plants with that grow light thinking of energy costs or should i get a 300w blue spectrumn cfl aswell to start of 4 plants, will that be enough ?
one 600w grow light and a 300w cfl to start them and what spectrum is best for plants just starting to grow from seed?

the 600 watt grow with the 300 watt cfl would probly be good enough for 3 i dono about 4 i would test with three or if you are just doing regular seeds ( unfeminized ) i would go with putting like 6 under the light, and 3 of them should be female. Seedlings and the plants itself through veg, love the blue spectrum ( it encourages them to grow) I would just use the 300 watt cfl for the seedlings and when the females get bigger maby 2 or 3 weeks add the 600 watt grow light

mylar is great it has a very high reflective rate which means the plant is getting more light because less light it waisted
