just thought id share with you guys. been researching for about 3 months what would be the best equipment for me. here's what ur lookin at

growlab gl80

super sun 1 reflector with 270 super agro hps bulb

250w lumatek e-ballast

single outlet timer for light

canfan 4" HO 178CFM inline fan

can-filter 9000 4"(gonna hook it up to the hood once in flowering)

cool pengiun humifier(hehe) blowing mist which is sucked in thru the passive intake. this keeps the tent at 50% humidity as without it it will stay at 30%

the speedster fan control

ecoplus large temp/humidity display

im gonna use doublesided velcro to put these on the tent sides they are together and not on the floor/on the top.

i also got a ph kit,

one bag of canna coco

one bag of fox farms ocean forest

one bag of perlite.

going to do a 50% ocean forrest, 40% canna coco, 10% perlite mix

thanks for all the help!

Nice, you are heading in the right diection. Have fun and don't drive yourself crazy sweating the small stuff. It's just a weed.

Can I tell you right now from experience, using a similar setup as you. Loose those yo-yo light hangers, get your self some jack chain and S hooks.

I wouldn't be able to sleep at night after I seen how those things worked.

Nice setup. As someone above mentioned, I would go with the S hooks and chains instead of the yo yo. Tried to use the yo yo and it was a pain in the ass.

I'm thinking about getting a GL80 or GL120. Is there 2 cable ports on the GL80? If, so I know one is on the back, but where is the other port located?

Good luck with your grow.

As you can see the new Grow Lab tents are the way to go..

All thought the "new" Secret Jardin are nice as well.

everything ran me just under 1k. not cheap but i wanted the best of the best. also whats wrong with the yoyo? some jackchain came with the reflector but i dont have any s hooks at the moment. also the tent has 3 passive intakes, one active exhaust vent and one for cable management.

There's nothing wrong with the yo yo. I just found it easier to use chains with s hooks. I'm going to upgrade from my homebox xs to the GL80. I hope it runs just fine with a 400w HPS....

it should, so long as you can manage the temps. i would also high recommend the reflector, it was the only one i could find that would fit because the air ducts are in the reflector, not on the sides.

Put that thermometer inside the tent on the floor or right at conopy height. Then string the temp probe up over the top rafters. This will tell you the temp and humidity at conopy height (indoor reading) and the temp near the roof (outdoor reading). Looking very good. Are you going to veg and flower in there and how many on your first run?

Check out my Growlab 4x4 tent (just upgraded to growlab 4x9) journal.
