Simple Watering Question

I have a 1 month old plant im gonna transplant into a 5 gal. bucket. I was just wondering about how much water i should give it each watering??

Water it until it begins to drip out the bottom. With a 5Gal bucket it will take a fair bit, probably around a gallon of water. Just stop as soon as it starts dripping out

Thanks for the posts guys... I just gave her 2 liters and that seemed to be enough to get it to drip.
