Root pointing the same way as the sprout after germination

Hey,
one of my seeds that I germinated has a root that is growing the same way as the sprout and I was just wondering how can I get it to come around so I can plant it with root downwards. Can I pull it over without breaking it off or should I just plant it and turn on my cfl's so it will reach upwards?

Hmmm.. Thats weird. Plant it fairly close to the surface and just water it and have your cfl's on. The plant should be able to fix itself. If you try to move it yourself, you'll either kill it buy breaking it or just touching the root and putting into shock

I could use gloves, but yeah I'll just plant it like you guys say

DO NOT!!! try to manipulate the sprout...you WILL break it!

Plants respond to several "tropisms". One is for roots to grow down with the force of gravity and towards water, one is for the shoot to grow up, against gravity (no light needed!) and one is to grow towards the light.

Plant the sprouted seed flat...the root will go down and the shoot will go up:bigjoint:

Why I just plant em after a seed soak

never have that problem

Haven't done that yet. But its nice to germinate them and open the paper towel and see that they're alive and ready for soil.

But yeah your fine if you just plant and water them. Also, with the glove, don't do it. Take tweezers and pick them up by the seed shell and place them in the soil. But let us know how it goes though

Cannabis has been growing by itself for hundreds of years. It never needed you before, so trust the plants ability to live. The number one rookie mistake is to love your plants to death...Literally.

REMEMBER! At the end of the day, it's just a fuckin weed, man. The only way we help, is by pointing the taproot down when we plant.
