I'm an electronics tech so I can tell you that an led want 1.2 to 1.5 volts dc (direct current) your little strips of 6 will most likely work if you give em 5 or 6 volts (that would be 4 regular batteries)

They will most likely not work for growin

Those wont do anything for your grow... So you are aware.

... and there are instructions for wiring LEDs on google if you search for it.
