How can i cool my room down?

Ok sounds like a stupid question but i have just set up a 1.2x1.2x2m hydroponic grow room with a 600w light,inlet and outlet fans and 2 desk fans 2 circulate the air but when i zip up the tent or shut the window in the room the temps going over were i want it 2 b (only slightly) what could i use to cool it down so i can zip it up n not worry when i go out i am gonna fry my crop? I need help and as many opnions as possible thanks for reading. :weed:

Do you have a cool tube? Or a air cooled hood? Either should help this. . . water or air cooled. . . if you do not already have one of these get them if this is an option. You should be able to use your original bulb and ballast and cord, just adding the cool tube or hood and a inline fan of some sort should cure this. . . or get an A/C and duct it in. . .

Hi Dr no i dont have a cool tube just in let n out let fans n 2 6inch desk fans, problem i have is i dont have much spare cash after paying for my set up and christmas, just thought my outlet fan is at the top of my tent do u think it would help if i lowerd this to the level of the light?

better extraction would be best
cool tubes dont give out near as much light as other reflectors but are cooler, only use if all else fails. you really notice a difference.
keep the room the tent is in cool, turn off heating in that room, open window/vents.
ensure light is off at hottest part of day and on overnight
get something sorted m8 if u have heat issues now summer gonna sink ya

also try only 1 fan on low setting blowing over your plants
this will allow hot air to rise and be extracted

too much stirring of the air can keep temps high (from my own experience)

very true gonna have 2 sort sumthing.....ok can a pick your brains with another question please...i have just potted the clones they are about 4 inches with good roots wat is the ideal temp of the tent and the ideal ph level of water? also i have them under 24h light at d moment with hydroponic feeding water running 24/7 to is this ok or should i look in2 changing this soon? sorry about the basic questions but my book has told me nothing. :-(

what medium are u using?, some u need plenty of pump on time (clay pebbles) some it dont really matter (rockwool,growcubes) some quite little (coco coir/mix)
lights on 24hrs is good but would contribute to your heat, try 18/6 off at hottest part of day
i like to keep my temps 27c-32c day time temp, around 17c when lights off.
this is just what i aim for, i dont know the perfect temps are but im sure it would differ from strain to strain
ph 5.5 -6.5 most ph test kits turn red when low, blue when too high, and ingeniously green when about right, dont fuss bout exactness green=good leave it at that. to easy to mess up when adjusting

i am using clay pebbles some1 told me to leave the pumps on 24/7 and the plants will take what they need...? Just want a 2nd opnion as my friend that told me is pretty new to growing 2. i am gonna start lowering light time today see if that helps there growth. cheers.

ok i have tried the advise (turn off a fan and set the other fan on low as this was the most inexpensive) ....and its worked a treat, so i take it the hot airs rising now n being extracted betta. top tips every1 thanks for all the feed back this sites a great help been pulling my hair out for days. thanks again.
