looks good man, have the leaves finished looking up yet? the one that is leaning les u could bend a little more i think, but you can also just tighten the string a bit in a few days too if eveything hasnt started growing up yet. once the leaves adjust tie the fan leaves that block direct light from the stem to the side. then sit back and watch it grow for a week or so. we can talk about the next step then.**********bump*******************
I thought about prunning the leafs that got in he way of the light to the stem durinmg this process but still unsure about itlooks good man, have the leaves finished looking up yet? the one that is leaning les u could bend a little more i think, but you can also just tighten the string a bit in a few days too if eveything hasnt started growing up yet. once the leaves adjust tie the fan leaves that block direct light from the stem to the side. then sit back and watch it grow for a week or so. we can talk about the next step then.
give them a couple weeks befor you do anything so drastic, the lower fan leaves will fall off on thier own because of lack of light eventually, after a couple weeks when new growth is started along the stem you might need to cut a few them to get them out of the way, but just tie them out of the way for now.I thought about prunning the leafs that got in he way of the light to the stem durinmg this process but still unsure about it
Thanks for the post i have tightened up the lst on the one not so drasticly bent . will be sitting in wait for the new growth .give them a couple weeks befor you do anything so drastic, the lower fan leaves will fall off on thier own because of lack of light eventually, after a couple weeks when new growth is started along the stem you might need to cut a few them to get them out of the way, but just tie them out of the way for now.
Yea i think i done the right thing due to being in a closet. I want the most bang for your buck is main reason i done it and to see what the yield difference will be between the Fimm'ed and lst time will tell MERRY CHRISTMASplants are looking great. good job with the lst; i just began lsting an indica dom. i have in my flowering closet. nice internode spacing too, i like to keep my plants bushy as all hell in veg and short, bcuz when i flip to 12/12 i know they are going to stretch a helluva lot.
merry christmas!(eve)
Depends on who u talk too about the prunein, some say not to, others say it dosen't matter. I think unless you have a 400watt HPS you have to clip, you know how I have my lights and after clipping the flowers down low are smallMerry Christmas , Ok last night while i was playing santa lol.. I decided to prun my plants. I clipped all 5 plants to allow more light to the lower branches and node sites. I will post some updated pics some times tonight.
Lookin GoodUpdated Pictures after pruning / Few of the sprouts as well...
Yes, But the thing is "I don't care" what others say on the subject I research and I beleive the same as you without the proper lighting you need to prune. I didnt want to felt it was needed with the setup I have. I am still going to be working on getting some side lighting added, but dont have it now so I pruned, next time I will go without pruning HopefullyDepends on who u talk too about the prunein, some say not to, others say it dosen't matter. They are showing sign of growth in the lst'ing , Hope they take off soon lol..the lst and prune job look good man, didnt take off too many i think. how is the growth from the main stem? getting bigger yet?
I took off qiut abit opened up all the lower branches i think it did shockem for a day though but seem to be growing better now .how much of the leaves did you prune? in my experience anything over like 30% may shock the plant for a couple days, but yours look fine. the lsting is going to be awesome with the pruning because many of the lower leaves will be able to gather light and create more energy, which = faster growth. whenever i started lsting, i noticed a difference and growth spurt within a couple of hours.
will update pics tonightnice dude!
