Best Portable Grow Tent/Box System?...

I'm a complete newbie and have spent hours sorting through a ton of information on this site and others. I think I've got the basics down and am ready to order some seeds. I still can't decide whether to go hydro or soil and am having a really hard time sorting through all of the various systems out there to determine which one to purchase. I have a decent amount of coin to spend, but would like to spend $500 or less on my setup. I'm willing to spend a little more if it takes a lot of the guess work out of the equation and makes my life easier. After reading as much as I have, I can't figure out whether growing is really difficult or fairly easy...seems it can be as complex as you want to make it. I'm only looking to grow one or two plants but quality is a BIG deal to me. I'm simply tired of paying through the nose for good product and having to constantly go through several people to find what I'm looking for.

I'm putting myself at the mercy of the board. Thanks in advance for any suggestions on the best system in my price range. Ideally, I'd like a complete system rather than having to buy various components. Of course, I'm open to all ideas.

Am I thinking clearly when I say I could buy this kit (link below) and put it in one of the tents you posted? Seems like it would be a complete set up. Or am I missing something?

I dont see any reason at all, that wouldn't work.

Myself, I've never used a tent. My indoor grow was in my basement, and I built walls similar to Mr.Greens basement setup.

Hopefully you will get a comment from sum1 with more experience with how tents work. I'm pretty sure those tents are built for setups just like that. As I told you, my bro was lookin' at them. He was gonna' set up a small 'sea-of-green' garden in his.

Stealth hydro sell quality products. I bought every bit of my hydroponic setup there. HOWEVER! I suggest you shop around for a cheaper site! You will pay through the teeth for everything you buy there.

If I were you, and i was planning to make a large purchase such as that one, I would start a thread asking what are the best sites for inexpensive QUALITY gardening supplies.

Im confident you'll get some good help!

I wanna' say, that I think your grow is gonna' go just fine. I think that because your doing everything right, by choosing this site as your information source. If you need more information, I suggest you either search for forums where others have posted similar questions, start a new thread about your question, and a REALLY good source of information can be videos! I learned alot from Mr.Greens 'I Grow Chronic' video, and Jorge Cervantes' 'Ultimate Grow' Videos. You can find most informational videos, here...
