Veg on 14/10 to slow the grow for flower room

I had an epiphany this morning. Im doing a small SOG, and probably going to get clones into flower at 10 inches. Did 12" and they are too crowded. Ive been thinking I will end up having to grow out clones twice while my flower shelf is busy for a few months. Figure it only takes a month to root and grow to 10 inches.

So instead of having to cut clones from my clones and veg again on an 18/6 cycle, Im wondering how much slower they would grow on 14/10? Maybe slow em down enough to wait for my buds to finish? Also they will be so ready to bud at that cycle they should explode when they get under the hps! Im growing hybrids, and indica. So it might be different for the diff strains.

Many (and could even say "most") indica strains will flower under 14 hours of light per day.

Not sure if that's what you're going for.

I've found that increasing the amount of light slows the growth, asthe plant sythesizes the sunlight and feedings during the dark.I've kept clones in the cloning room for over a month in 4"pots of soil, and they are onlt 6-8" tall.24-0 light schedule.

Thats funny, since so many like the 24/0 schedule for faster growth.... Also keepin em in small pots would help Im sure.

I veg on 24/0 and my plants grow fast as shit - I'm not really sure what the poster above seems to be saying, in all honesty.

If it's that 24/0 will keep your plants small and veg slowly, it's 100% incorrect.

does anyone have experience with 14/10? Or feelings on how much it my slow down my plants? Or any other things it may do?

put the lights on 24/0 and get the plants as close to the lights as possible, i do it with mine sometimes, basiucally u get this ultra dense plant that has super close budsites, and once u flower it gets to stretch out and becomes huge, ive put plants into flower at 5" tall with about 10-15 leaves that are close to 1.5 feet tall.

So you think the night would be when they stretch a bit? On a 24 they will stay more squat. Sounds worth trying.

I do keep my plants very close to light, and the White Widow is stretchy, but indicas, and indica doms are super dense. I LST'd my WW a bit to keep it the same height as others during veg. And now first week of flower it hasnt caught up. Stretching the same pace as Super Skunks.
