yeah i get the logic but man im old school though i grew up smokin the real humbult sticky stank ass skunk in my teens and the real thai bud i dont want seeds in my bud not the bud for smokin i have 8 plants more than enough to do the two crosses and still have maybe three to grow straight out for smokin..but thanks anyway,,ppp

dont blame you then man,i have never been able to do a few buds without getting most of the plant anyways though so if you go that route good luck. i take the 1 i want in a whole other room and leave it over night ,then dont forget to spray the crap out of it with water so youll kill the rest of the pollen . lol ..i forgot one time .lol.. later

Hey i know ive been giving the ole lady a lil grief lately but the ole girl came through for me this time maybe its the near ounce of blue mystic i just harvested and gave her..i got my new camera today along with my other package heres your view of my box not a bad deal all total 278.00 including shipping..400 watt digital cooltube hps/mh complete setup/ carbon filter / panda film/ 6" to 4" reducer x2..not a bad kit for the money..peace pot prosperity

Are you going to use that small 4 inch fan in the first set of pics to cool that light? If so... yeah that isn't gonna cut it you will need more air flow
And also, how long is that cool tube? That this is fricken tiny!

ok so here we go i have duct set up in my bedroom window that will bring in 40-45 deg night air from outside into the cool tube by way of the first 4" 80 cfm inline fan which is called a push through the other 4" cfm inline fan will be set up on the opposite side of the tube and be pulling through the cooltube at the same time to exaust.. so basically ill have 160 cfm's split in half to do the job i did it this way to get the fresh air from my window also ill be running my lights at night for the temp reasons..as for the light its 16" by 6" round..the reason i didnt go larger is because of the space after duct/ carbon filter/ bat wing etc.etc. so maybe you see where im going now with this. ppp

correction that cooltube is only 14" i didnt measure it until you asked and i may send it back because the one i orderred said 16" which is what i wanted and needed..im not sure this tube can cover four plants even in my compact room..what do you think? 2x3x4

That is what I was thinking it looks tiny, cool tubes already have pretty bad coverage as is
I think the bulb would be getting blocked by the metal ends that you hook ducting up to

hey im sure it would have hit me sooner or later but thanks to you i did check it out and its on its way back to where it came from i almost missed my refund time lasp +rep to you man and thanks a lot..going shopping again now for a 400..what do you think about my way of cooling it when it gets here? that i mentioned to you?

If you have cold air coming in from outside than you should be good to go
Once it gets warmer out though you will have to think about getting a stronger exhaust fan

not happy at the moment the new cooltube that i got is not the one i orderred and i had to send it back so im hoping this is not going to be to much of a set back on my babies the tube portion that light can go through is only 9 1/2 inch's long and not the 15 3/4 inch that its suppose to be so they are sending me the correct one i hope it does'nt take to long to get here other than that the babies are doing fine..just a quick update..peace pot prosperity

Tom's right; you really need a stronger fan to cool that light.

I use a 6" (425CFM) on my 1K, but you could probably get away with a 4" (170CFM) on yours - but those little axial fans will not be cutting it, unless the air you're bringing in is quite cool.

hey thanks for the response i here what you are saying thats why i asked about my set up im not simply running (1) 4" 80 cfm fan for the cooltube i'll be running (2) one pushing the cool air through the other pulling the heated air through and out to exaust im not sure if anyone can picture what im talking about but thats the best way i can explain it without pic's it will be a total of 160 cfm just 80 pulling 80 pushing..is this ok or not..?thanks by the way it will be mainly on at night during which the temps get down to about 38-42 deg here.

hey cool vid's youve got all the areas coverred im no where near that type of set up nor will i ever get to that point lol but it is a sight to see very nice indeed so i noticed that you only have the one fan for the cooling of your light and its pushing air through instead of pulling air like most others on here say to do is it just prefference or because your grow area is so large and wide open? also if i get the 4"170 cfm do you recommend pushing instead of pulling even though ill have another 4" with passive intake to help with the box temps..

i just got a 400 watt lumatek digital ballast and a air coolable hood with 8inch ports for cooling... and i got two hortilux super blue mh bulbs... all for 140 bucks from a friend.!!! i cant weight... u know anything about these bulbs? i guess they are supposed to be able to grow at all stages of growth... any insight on this??? and my papayas are comming down in 2-3 weekss!!!!!

so here are my babies at 14 days from seeds even the runt has begun to really take off im loking very good so far with this grow and i really love the new nutes and the feeding schedule that they have for young plants no burns or trouble yet.. im going to start to flower the NL x HAZE and the SKUNK #1 they are about 1 1/2 weeks ahead of the others so i figure il put them on 24 hour darkness on the dec.31st then 12-12 from there they have been topped as well and are looking great..so thats the update..peace pot prosperity

papaya= 15 days

bubbleicious= 15 days

blue mystic= 15 days

skunk#1= 23 days topped

NL xHAZE= 23 days topped

i have a question since im using new nutes should i flush my nl x haze and my skunk when they come out of 24 hours of darkness before 12/12 just to start bloom nutes with a ph'ed and clean soil?
