is it normal for my HPS bulb to run 10-15 degrees hotter then my MH bulb. I know the HPS puts out more lumens I guess I was just dumb and didn't figure that = extra heat. d

ya HPS will burn hotter.., an as far as cloning.. super easy man, dont over think it..go to wall-mart n pick up some "shutlz take root" like 5$ then just cut, dip, mist dome every day, might take up to 2 weeks to see roots so just chill.., but plants look health n happy doing great man your gonna have some fire:joint:

thanks, yeah I've tried taking clippings from the top and the bottom of the plant after 2 weeks they are so wilted they are just laying flat on the ground.

also "hell yes" my two biggest plants showed, what I think is, female flowers I don't have a camera good enough to take a picture but I found 2 nodes that have 2 little "hairs" coming out of the tip.

usually wilting is a sign of not enough humidity in the clones dome...cause i believe clones hold there water via humidity since they have no roots to drink it...but congrats on the ladies bro:weed::joint::peace:

no joke about 5:55 I start hanging around the doors to my room like a kid peeking down the stairs trying to get a look at his presents. :weed: I never thought this would turn out as good as it has not on my first try anyway. *knocks on wood*

okay so I've got 2 thats I'm 100% sure are female another one that I'm 95% sure is female 2 that I think may be male and 2 more that are not giving me anything to go off of.

pictures in the order i uploaded them

1. Is bobby joe shes 22 inches tall and drinks water like shes ready for girls gone wild 2010

2. is Mary kate she was lookin fine back when she was 15 but now I think I spie balls

3. Ashley if Mary kate has nuts so does this one they look exactly the same

4. Pardon the shitty picture but this is the one I'm 95% is female her names Margaret

5. Nancy again kind of a shitty pictures but I really have no clue on this one.

6. Gladas, is in the same boat with nancy.

Damn! We're in a tight spot! so I'm sitting on 3 confirmed females right now STILL waiting on that 4th and the way things are looking I'm almost hoping its male. My biggest plant is 24 inches tall and about the same in diamater and I've only been flowering for 10 days (since the 19th). My biggest plant has already doubled in height. I was "assuming" it would tripple in height but I guess its making an ass out of me for sure.

I'll go right out here now and admit it. I over veged. Rookie mistake lesson learned.

BUT now what can I / should I do? I can't buy another light thats 100% out of the question I've got the 400w HPS in there now. My current ideas include adding CF's to the sides of my grow area to help "supplement" light I already have the power strips and bulbs. What are my options as far as trimming. Obviously I want to keep my yeild up as high as possible but would I yeild more giving away my one sure female and my other plant and just letting my two bigest girls go at it? or is there some selective pruning I can do ? height isn't really the problem I've got room to bring my light all the way up to 6 feet I'm more just running out of floor space.

Also it should be noted these are in 3 gallon pots I'm also kind of hoping they get "root" bound in a "good" way and stop growing up and out.
Sorry for the page and a half.

[CLIF notes] Plants getting to big what are my options ? [/CLIF notes]

So heres what I got for now if my smallest plant DOES turn out to be female i'm 90% sure I've got a good quality home for it cause I really dont think I've got the room to spare. Knew I should of got the 600w

4 23w 2700k CFLs and 2 13w 6500k hopefully that with the "left over" light its getting from the HPS will be enough for that plant

so I'm left with 3 females they have been flowering for almost 3 weeks now heres some shots of my big girl. I noticed some leaf "droopage" I don't think my water every 3 days was enough so I'm upping it to every other day now hopefully that will correct that issue.
