300 Watt LED Triband lights... enough for my young ones?

I just bought 2 300 watt LED Triband light with the red, blue orange spectrum. My ladies have been under them for a week and are growing but the stems are long and skinny, any suggestions as to what I need to do to get them to grow right. I am VERY frustrated and need someone help desperately. Thanks:cry::confused::-?

Hey,

What are you using exactly for lights? Do you have a link to where you bought them or any more product information. There are a lot of LED grow sellers make big claims about their product that often aren't true. Hopefully you didn't fall into this scam.
I haven't yet had the opportunity to grow with LEDs but the only thing I can suggest is to mix in some CFLs (maybe 4 x 26W) and see how the plants respond.
Pictures would help too!

Good luck

how high above the plants do you have the led panels??? remember the thing with leds is that they dont get hot...so you can put them damn near right on top of your plants to prevent them from stretching.

LEDS have proven very good actually for some, very very good. Id say 600watts for how much many seedlings??? may be overkill...its cool though, you can get some nice shit out of 600watts of LEDS
