Hey guys,
have moved my grow and stated a new tent
Looking for some help on my light layout. I have a 6.5x6.5x6.5 grow tent, set up with 2- 1k hps in cool tubes. Will b running 3 systems in there for a 2-3 wk harvest. (plan to add 3rd 1k light in future)
NOW the question is how should I run those lights?
Meaning, 1 over each rack, (length of the racks). Or should I run the 2 side by side?
Also I should still adjust height of lights periodically right, or is it enuf lumen to leave @ one lvl?
Running length wise, would I still need to adjust their height periodically with the plants?
I'm thinking that since a 1k has a penetration of about 3 ft then I may not hv to adjust. also for now Ill be adding a 400 watt mh the middle (no cool tube, vertically hung) Plan on adding the 3rd 1k hps in the future.
Perhaps I should mention that I only veg for 3 wks @ this time. (3 wk rotation).
