the t5s put out less heat and more light per watt, about 20% more light than the t8s, but you can use the t8 they will just stretch a little more from the incresed light hieght, about 2 inches further away than t5s.
Ok Gotcha I did notice the streching on 1 of the plants. I keep the light almost sitting on the top of the cup and move up from there just keeping the sprouts from touching it but they have touched for awhile a few times havent seen any adverse reaction from it it doesnt put out much heat though through the casing around the bulb :bigjoint:

Yea have been talking with clasonde and this was my last post lol >>>>>LOL It is but hell man its still very flemzy the way i have it hanging but thought about placing them (the Plants ) in the center of the grow room and going and buying another setup of lights the same as the 1st set of bulbs and haveing the hps 70 watt in the center like wowisuckatthis suggested and placing the 2 set's of light on both sides :bigjoint:

when u use side lighting they tend to get bushy as hell, no need to low stress train them, they just send out more brances at every node.

pretty nice. i personally say you need more light too. and much closer to the plants. Another must is some type of fan. Those plants need air flow. This will also help with stock strength. as they get bigger, if they are too far from the light, and there is no wind, they will stretch for the light and eventually get too top heavy and fall over. They all look very healthy so far

Hey stonerbeans Thanks for the post Yea What i have been doing is opening the door in the a.m and turning the fan on them through out the day . I know the plants need to be within an 1" of the plants just figureing out the layout is where i am at right now they are still thriving and doing very well :weed::weed::weed:

i would say the best way to do it would be to hang a light socket over the plant with a y spliter in it and 2 6500k bulbs for the rest of veg then switch one out for one of the 42 watt 2700k for flower, put the plants in a tight circle then hang the hps about 1 foot over them and drop the cfls right on top of them 1-2 inches dependig on the cfl, 1 inch is usually fine with the 26-28 watt ones. then suround the setup with plywood painted a semi gloss white or some white poster board and have a stand fan blowing over the top and down inside for cooling and circulation.

Yea bro, I have been working on it today still havent got it in postion where4 i want the lights but the layout right now is stable at least . I dont have much to work with in words of setting them up seprate, Thought about taking the 100w out of the bundle and pluging it into another extension cord off to the side and taping up the top of the extention cord around the plug in through the y socket to have a flat completely vertical 4 way then i could set it right on top of 4 of the plants and have the other 2 closer than what they are now i have 1 plant within an inch another within 2 maybe 3 inches the others are about orlight more than 6 to 8 inches give or take an inch I also started the top shelf project for my seedlins 4 more germed and in soil now They are still looking good i will get better pics up soon Sucks not haveing a working camera lol But will do what i can when i can :weed::weed::weed:
