Hey everyone sorry i havent posted any updated pics but will be soon. Everything is changing in the grow room i just transplanted the one in the dr.pepper can to a 1.42gl pot same with the pringles container , the dixie cup plant is now resting in a 2 gl pot the other 2, the one in the country crock & veg bottle is still doing well in their containers. When i transplanted the dixie cup it by far had the best root system, glad i didnt cut into the cup to take it out or i would have cut some of the roots off Still only useing the 70 Watt - High Pressure Sodium - 6800 Lumens & F17/t8gl 75Watt 7800k grow light .Useing Brer Rabbit molasses with Bloom Booster and MG all purpose i am working on better nutes but right now deluting the dosage to the plants by 3/4 Useing perma "r" value insulation board for the reflectivness in the room . I have HPS about 2 feet from the top of the transplanted plants the other 2 are within a few inches also have the floro setting up next to the pots draiped across the top of the Pots, will that be good til i am able figure a better setup for the lighting Any and all help is greatly appreicated ....

with that low wattage hps you need to get it about 8 inches away from the tops of the plants, i run a 100 watt and i can get as close as 4 inches before they start to bleach, and also try stoping the molasse until flower, it can nute lock your plants and stop nutrient uptake and growth.

I knew it needed to be real close but i am useing a dusk to dawn hps 70 w barn light i have to rig something up to get them closer which i plan on doing today sometimes I'll check out your grow journal as well and thank you for giving advice +rep preciate it

I got the light problem in the works to being fixed lol Just going to buy some cfls tomorrow prolly come by Haywood Laterz Bro

Thanks for the advice wowisuckatthis hopefully today i will have all i need to finish veg, And think about what i want to do about flowering on a budget But adding as time goes by any and all advice is greatly apreciated Still working on getting pics will try to get pics up after I have all the plants transplanted and cfl's up The 3 i transplanted to me look happy in their new home

Hi all , Today i am a happy camper went to Lowes with my Bro Haywood Yablowme who helped me get the things i need to add the cfl's He's electrician, So preciate it bro. I Now have a 70 watt Hps 6800 Lumens along with Soft white 300W cfl using 65 watts of energy 2700 k & 5 daylight 100 watt cfl using 26watts of energy 1600 lumen 6500k. I have it riged up right now i need to stabilize my setup dont want it to fall and burst on my plants but right now i have it hanging with a clothes hanger attached to my shelf of the closet draped down over the plants within a few inches. is alot brighter alott man i couldnt beleive the difference it made i turned off the 75 watt grow light. I water the plants today they all are green and lush i have 1 that looks great but with some deformed leaves . It seems to be correcting itself tho i Have 3 main tops coming up on the dixie cup plant now the other topped plant already has another level of leaves as well but doesnt have 3 mains .

it works great, use the hps as a center down light and the cfls as side lights that point to the center, i use a 100w in a 2'X2'X4' box with 2 42w 2700k and 2 28w 5000k cfls and will be getting about and oz each from 3 plants with 3 weeks veg.

Well as soon as i get the email you guys can see how i have it setup. Still an unstable setup flemzy need to fine tune the lights I finished transplanting the other 2 today as well and have 4 more seed germinating and have to get my closet separated sprouts i want to place on top shelf with 24 hour lighting and light tight it> thinking of boxing it in to where i can open the whole thing up to work on plants and have it closed off from the bottom for flowering

hell yeah man, perpetual grow, thats the way to do it, if you are going up top like that look into the t5 flouros, can get them for 40 bucks a piece and they work great. check out my veg box link in my sig to see what they can do.

I have a T8 75 watt for the seedlins would it make a difference going to the t 5

the t5s put out less heat and more light per watt, about 20% more light than the t8s, but you can use the t8 they will just stretch a little more from the incresed light hieght, about 2 inches further away than t5s.
