Most if not all of those states were RED states, you know, conservative states. Gives some meaning to the premis that conservatives are more against legalizing than liberals, don't y'all think? My state. Nevada, used to be about the worst state for criminality of pot, but in the last 25 years, (Due to the huge influx of Californians no doubt) it is one of the more liberal, even has a medical MJ law, although with a population of around 3 million, only around 3,000 people have applied. I guess either paranoia or the reluctance to hassle it has kept the numbers low. It is a bit of a hassle in Nevada, check the NORML site to see why.
