those plants look amazing man...scribed for sure :bigjoint:
Alright...my leaves look soggy and my color is off. I'm going back to the nutes I used on my outdoor grow. Time to switch things up. Cleaned the res today and put in just RO water. I'm gonna do a flush today and start with a 50% nute mix of my old nutes.

The photos don't really show it but my leaves are curling under and aren't that perfect green.

Ran straight RO water for over a day. I'm done with the 3 part GH Nute system. It's good stuff and my friends are really succesfull with it. I'm just not comfortable with it. I'm back to using Age Old nutes. I'm currently running what equates to 1tbl spoon per gallon plus a half dose of Cal Mag.

My leaves rebounded pretty respectably from the flush. Still some curling at the tips but the growth is there so I'm not gonna worry too much about it.

4 days ago was this....

I've picked up some growth...

Stoked on the stalks man. Shit for 28 days that's a big girl.

Nugs starting to form. Trichs are just breaking through. Stoked...

Canopy is starting to take shape. In a few weeks I'm hoping this shot looks much more dense and stacked full of cola's :hump::shock: That low corner in the back right has been the runt from day one. I think one of the two tops is doing alright though.

That's all for now. Oh, I also cut back on the watering. I'm pretty much watering about 3x a day instead of 4. With the nute change, flush and new watering schedule I hope I've got this shit dialed.

It is looking good, you are really watering 3 x a day? Damn that a lot of water

Those stalks look nice and fat, how did you do with the C02 lines?

Yeah 3x a day. All my buddies with a number of different strains water for 15min every three hours or 10min every two hours. During veg they water 12x a day. Sounds nuts huh? I guess that's how it goes with RW. This strain is not digging that watering shedule so I backed of.

I think there is a ton of air/oxygen in those slabs. They feel like 100% water but my understanding is that they breath well. So far so good I guess.

Those Co2 lines are dead now. I'm still running Co2 but it drops down in front of the fan and sprays the canopy and body of the plants as it rotates. I had no clue Co2 was heavier than air. But to be honest with all the air moving in there I'm sure having it low was working fine. They grew really well with it low and high.

The old lines are gonna go away soon.

Edit, I work from home. While it's cool during the day I'm running my lights. I go down either at lunch or at the end of the day to empty the dehumidifier and adjust ph. It's working out well. If I got home at 5 or 6 like a lot of people I would run them at night to check on them. For now this works for me. I'm dumping my water from my dehumidifier into my res. It's like a gallon a day of water and almost makes up for the evaporation and absorption.

I have no clue what Co2 is doing. I just know I need it cause I'm sealed. My leaves are almost the right color. The camera makes them look a lil better than they are.

I hope it balances out in the next week or two with the adjustments I've made.

so you actually notice leaf coloration variances directly related to c02 input?
Are you asking that to the other guy?

I think my ac technically provides enough Co2 for them to be healthy and grow. The Co2 from what I can tell wouldn't directly make the leaves greener unless I had a Co2 defiency of some type.

I've always thought of Co2 as Roids for MJ. Basically what you have is what you have. Co2 just makes it bigger. Of course zero Co2 is a problem but I don't know if going from the standard 300pm in the air to 1000ppm + actually changes leaf color or just makes them grow bigger.

For $20 every ten days or so I'm just gonna run the bottle :joint:

C5,

Yes I could tell the difference, very dark green leaves more so than a 100 % plant w/o C02

And from reading one of the latest issues of West Coast Cannabis Vol 2 Issue 10 Page 58 Ask Ed he says you can double your plants size and yield over a garden with C02 vs a garden without C02 which I do not doubt

Dub,

For the C02 I have it on a timer than comes on with the lights, I think I found a good setting for my bottle

You want to have 1500 ppm going for max effect if you go over you can hurt your plants from what I have read

I would try to keep turning up the amount until you see a difference in the color of the leaves and see for yourself, but you may already know the set up and I am wasting your time if so I am sorry

Just did a couple rips and I am on tear

This is a stoner site. It's pretty hard to waste my time :hump:

Everyone I know uses fuzzy math anyway. Until I get a sensor I have no clue if I'm pushing enough.

I'm running the CAP ART-DNE. 15min on every 60min. It has that light sensor like yours so it doesn't cycle when lights are out. Right when the lights turn on at 7am it goes "click" and pushes Co2 for 15min.

The guys say I should go through a 20lb bottle a week. I'm not doing that yet. I'm running through a bottle every two weeks.

That timer is $80. Fuck...

Edit- yeah the word on the streets is that you slowly back off the Co2 ppm as you get closer to harvest. An interesting rule of thumb I heard for Hydro guys is that your Co2 ppm is close to being in line with your res ppm. It's really fucking close man...

The guys at the per store told me my bottle would last a year, bu again my cabinet is much smaller than yours. I think I have 12 cubic feet

So there is a BIG difference in what you and I are trying to fill sooo.

I agree until you get a C02 monitor your are just guessing, things don't look too bad anyways..

I am going to hit the gym, I am out

A tad over two weeks into flower and I wish I was close to harvest :weed:. I have no clue what kind of nugs this will do indoor.

Flushing and switching nutes has turned out to be a great move. I feel a lot more confident and the plants have a lot better color and the leaf tip curl is improving.
