all 12 of my cakes have or are fruiting.

i am getting pins on the 4 i flushed and rolled.

i sprinkled a little vermiculite on top of a few cakes. pins are popping out.


if i were ever to do this again, i would like to try "beds".

If you ever DO do it again maybe think of doing multiple grows with different methods? It'd be pretty fun eh? Lookin' good! The old dog is mastering his new trick.

i harvested a single mushroom that weighed 13.6 grams wet. not GIANT, but pretty decent sized anyway. it came off one of the first 6 cakes. first fruiting.

I've never been able to get a "nice buzz" with shrooms.... tried once though.... we used to sell them in the summer months, so of course ate plenty.... i figured i'd eat ONE shroom before work and have a cheery day..... it was NOT so... the damn roof was moving like an escalator, or so it seemed, and i was fucking terrified the entire day..... never tried to just get a little buzz with shrooms after that
