can I trick my sensi plant back into vegitative growth after harvest?

Hey guys, new member and new grower here, well I started back in August and my plants are about a week into floweriing.

I was wondering if I could trick my plants back into vegetative growth once I have harvested the buds? OR am I going to have to clone the tops in order to keep things going?

If your plants flowering it can be re-vegged with clones from the mother. If you cut or try to remove the buds from the stem and then re-use that plant it would probably die. Give it a try if you want, but I've never heard of people doing this.

No disrespect intended, but you are incorrect. You can regenerate any plant as long as leaves are left on the plant and it isn't introduced to disease. Cut off the buds, leave on some leaves, switch back to 18/6.

I Tricked my outdoor plant into re vegitating after i harvested, but its metabolism is very slow if not put on hold (its december)
Indoor would be much easier. I'm sure you could do it.

I did it to my plants, and I just put them back into the flowering cycle. If this is what you're going to do, make sure you leave some little buds on the plant. I had like 3 or 4 growth tips coming out of every bud, so my plants got very bushy. though, I'm not 100% sure, but you would probably be better off taking cuttings at this point. it took 2 months of re-vegging to get my plants big enough flower. If I had taken cuttings I probably would be harvesting a month sooner, at least.

I haven't tried this, but read about it here on RIU. The post said you could cut off all the leaves and buds, then put it back on 20/4 or 18/6 light cycle. However, it would seem like a good idea to leave on some leaves to help the situation.

I plan to try it next time. Apparently you can do it twice. Good luck.

Dont cut off all the leaves and buds. Just cut the top 2/3 of the plant of, leaving a few small bud sites and branches with leaves at the bottom. Flush with plain water and put in 24hr light, when it dries uses half strength veg nutes. In about 2 weeks you will see new growth. Good Luck

I'm sure people that have never witnessed this would like to see how the plant looks. thanks

u can totaly reveg the plant .
but u each time u will do this , u will loose about 30% of the yield . also each time u do it u might turn into to shock , make the plant stop growing or worse

for flowering .

I always have luck within a few days. Nice, dark leaves, stemming from a thick stem. Doesn't take any more time than to root some clones. If the plant is genetically female, it has no chance of becoming male or hermy. imho. ciao!
